Note: Give yourself (and your party) extra time to go through the video/quiz and get the boat. I think it took us about 30-45minutes until we were on the lake. My family went after the local schools had started, and so it didn't seem busy or crowded. The staff were friendly and guys handling the boat were very accommodating. We plan on returning this coming summer.

Asked if the rental could be credited to another day. Michael in Customer Service wants to argue back and forth about it. So frustrating. Yes we should've checked the weather just before leaving, but why are you sending people out in electrical storm and then not honoring your written weather policy? Definitely going back to renting from Aqua Sports Adventures. Always a good experience.

8 years after I posted my initial review someone wanted to comment underneath it saying that we did…read morenot let them know that a wedding was taking place when we rented the home. We absolutely did. I told them when I toured the property prior to making a deposit. and I paid an event fee.I still look back at my wedding day with anger, frustration, and tears because of the mistreatment and the rudeness that they displayed. You can make whatever excuse you want. But the home had cobwebs, lightbulbs out, TV not working, a toilet not working, etc. The grass was up to our knees and there were dead plants and flowers all over the property, which looked very different from when I toured the home. The people I interacted with were extremely disrespectful. Again, it's been eight years and I still have never gotten an apology. Never once got an apology for being told the day before my wedding that if I wasn't happy with the property, I could go somewhere else. Clearly there is no shame or regret for how this association treats people who spend their hard earned money to rent their properties. Thank you Faith for bringing my old review to my attention again so I can make sure to let everyone know not to go through your organization.

And they were such great hosts. I met a couple board members and they were very gracious. The view is outstanding from the point. Camping is encouraged and they have lots of room. Their club house if fantastic with an open floor plan, gigantic working fireplace, clean restrooms, and large screen TV that was very important on the day we were there. Football was on all day so between races(and sometimes during) we were able to keep up with out favorite games! I look forward to being there next year!

Review of Roswell Historic Hall: A Bride's Nightmare…read more I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the service provided by Roswell Historic Hall during our wedding reception on April 27, 2024. Our experience was far below the expectations set during our initial meetings, leading to numerous issues that marred what should have been a joyous occasion. Shuttle Service: The shuttle service was a disaster. Despite scheduling pick-up times, the shuttle was over an hour late. Elderly guests, some requiring walkers and canes, were left standing for long periods. Many guests ended up walking to the venue, crossing Alpharetta Highway, which was unsafe and unacceptable. Additionally, several groups of guests waited over an hour for the shuttle to leave after the event, with the driver nowhere to be found. My father and other guests had to personally search for the driver behind the bar multiple times. Police Officer & Staff: Despite paying $500 for a police officer, no officer was present. This was a clear breach of our contract, and I demand an immediate refund. Initially, there was no bartender at the cocktail service, leaving guests to serve themselves. My friend had to ask for help with the margarita machine, only to be told to calm down when she needed assistance. The waitstaff were largely absent, choosing to hang out in the kitchen and tent area instead of serving guests. Food and Beverage: The quality and quantity of the food were extremely disappointing. The charcuterie display was tacky and insufficient for our 160 guests. Many guests, including my daughter, went hungry. The cocktail hour spread fell far short of what was promised. I had to ask for more food to be put out, which should not have been necessary. The champagne toast was another fiasco; I had to text you to start opening the champagne despite our prior discussion. Decorations and Cakes: The cookie table was not placed as agreed and was nearly empty when I checked it. I had to restock it myself, which is unacceptable. The cakes were displayed without any decorations, and the cake topper was not placed until I did it myself. The cake was not distributed to guests, resulting in a $700 loss as many guests did not receive any, and we had no leftovers to freeze for our anniversary. Organization: Throughout the evening, I had to make numerous phone calls and texts to address issues that should have been managed by your team. My husband and I repeatedly had to go behind the bar and kitchen to locate servers and items, causing unnecessary stress and disrupting the flow of the evening. You even approached me several times to ask if you could leave, despite knowing the event was not going well. Overall Experience: In summary, the level of service provided during our wedding was unacceptable. It tarnished what should have been a beautiful day and caused unnecessary stress and disappointment for us and our guests. The numerous failures in meeting the agreed-upon expectations have led me to demand a 30% refund of the total amount paid, which is $5,310. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter. I strongly urge you to address these issues to prevent similar experiences for future clients. This was supposed to be one of the most memorable days of our lives, and the service provided by Roswell Historic Hall was a complete failure. Message me if you'd like to discuss my experience.

Perhaps due to recent showers but I thought the water clarity was superior here compared to War Hill or Shoal Creek. You could see schools of fish sized 2-3 inches in length right there with you on the shore. The fish are used to being fed which is why they don't venture far from shore. The beach front is large and there is plenty of parking too. I liked that the park had trash cans right where you park. Good thinking. The water was in the low 80s and very refreshing. I went for a half mile swim by the buoys and played for a couple of hours with our little one in the water. The beach does have a few rocks at the shoreline and if you don't have water shoes you might stub your toe. Just tread carefully. So far this was a winner but there are other parks we have yet to explore.

The women's bathroom is clean and is equipped with hot shower. What I do not like about this place is that the instructor doesn't offer much advice. It is my first time surfing/ skiing/ water skiing at all, and I was only taught for 2 mins on the beach. When I was in the water the instructor uses a loudspeaker to offer me some advises, he was 100 feet away. On the website, it says "All lessons include a 30 minute session on the beach as well as 30 minutes on the cable. An instructor will be present with you at all times. " So I was kind of disappointed at first. Somehow, I did manage to stand on the water for at least the one way trip (I do not know how to turn and had to drop myself to the water whenever I want to make a turn), and I am super proud of myself! So the advice the instructor gave me did help. I was not charged for the equipment rental (life vest, board) and I spend 2 and a half hour on the beach (me and three other people took turns). Do bring: bath suit, sunscreen, towel, snack, water (I do not see any shops nearby), dry clothes, bug spray, and wear contact lenses PS: I think this place is not suitable for small children, because beginners fall into the water often, and you have to swim to catch the cable each time you fall. But your feet are tied to the board, so you can only use your arms to swim. Of course you won't get drowned, everyone has to wear life vest, but still one could panic a bit.
