There are good snack, pastries, fruit and hot breakfast like egg, sausage, bacon served during morning. Of course I am having my favorite flat white before flying out from Australia and it really tastes good, Melbourne has the best coffee in the world no matter where you had it. The restroom is clean as well. This is definitely the best plaza premium lounge I have been to, I am glad it's here.

However, nothing else about the lounge was really dazzling. - There are a different variety of couches scattered throughout the lounge to relax in. - Food was simply Southeast Asian; the prawn potato curry was not terrible, but was running low towards the end of the night. - Spirits were very limited so folks looking for a variety of libations will need to look beyond the Golden Lounge. - Business Center was very small with old PCs and small screens. Great try Malaysia Airlines, but the competition most certainly beats you out here in Melbourne.

You can get into this lounge if you (1) have a business class international ticket and (2) have emerald status with a parter airline or qantas. Also got a 20 min complimentary back and shoulders massage at the adjoining spa. So nice and a great way to relax before a long international flight. We got to the lounge super early, 6:30am, so it was pretty empty. Service was excellent, breakfast menu was impressive and everything is flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bathroom and shower facilities are super clean and luxurious. Highly recommend you join the Qantas Frequent Flyer program if you travel a lot. The perks are unbelievable.

Restroom and shower: there is none in the lounge. So you'll have to do your business outside. Food: Don't expect any hot meals here. Just candy, chips, and refrigerated yogurt, fruit cups, and wraps. Drinks: You have the usual tea bags and coffee machine. A handful of sodas are available. If you're looking for a bar, well this is not the place. There's about a mini fridge size alcohol selection. After lunch, its buffet central with cheeses, cold meats, salads, dips, and a selection of hot plates too. Imagine, Coles cafeteria but for the sky! Wash it all down with a couple of fine Australian wines and entertain yourself with wifi and who really cares if your flight is delayed. Best of all, its all included in the membership.

For breakfast I had a fried egg and bacon sandwich on a milk roll with brown sauce. Being American I wasn't sure what a milk roll or brown sauce was...but why not? The sandwich was absolutely delicious! All the flavors of everything had a wonderful marriage together. I'm still not sure what brown sauce is...but it kinda tasted like a bbq sauce. The milk roll was like a regular roll that I'm used to in the states. It was also nicely toasted. Definitely had a delicious breakfast! An egg sandwich and a beer? You can't go wrong. Truly is the breakfast of champions!
