The salad bar was outstanding (so fresh, it's probably locally grown). The items with the local bacon speciality were also particularly good (Speck Knödel and Krautsalat with Speck). The beef in the "Geröstetes" was nothing special (well, it was good beef, but I'm not really a big fan of beef), but the rest was delicious. The portions are generous, but not ridiculuous Even with only one waitress for 6 tables, service was excellent. The waitress also spoke excellent English (and understood what it means to be Vegetarian). The restrooms were also spotless. Overall, without alcohol or dessert, the bill came to €22/person, which is a good price for the quality and quantity of food. We tried the La Noisette sundae with vanilla, chocolate, and hazelnut gelato with whole hazelnuts, crispy cookies, whipped cream and chocolate and hazelnut sauce. That was a heavenly mouth full!
