I was referred to Skin by Donelyn, by one of her clients 5 days after I was a victim of a dog mauling. I had a 2" x 2" open wound on my lower arm, with no skin to stitch together. I was scheduled for skin graft surgery. As a diabetic, there was great concern as to healing in an extremity. Over the next couple of weeks, in conjunction with my doctors, she treated me with LED light therapy. I have been taking a collagen supplement she recommended. She's very kind and knowledgeable. Lorna really pushes and believes in organic and healthy skincare. The products that she uses are all developed and created by her. She owns an organic skincare and makeup line. Out of all the products she used on me, only one didn't do well on my skin. But, that's only because I'm allergic to tea tree oil. Everything else made my skin soft and smelled pleasant! I still have a couple more treatments of the Diamond peel, but I can honestly say that I've already seen a difference. After the first treatment, I had already received many compliments about how my face looked brighter. After my second one, my scars and blemishes turned lighter, and my pores looked smaller. It doesn't hurt at all. In fact, it's relaxing. It was my first time getting eyelash extensions so I was a bit nervous; I'm sensitive to new products. Lorna assured me that she only uses top of the line extensions and adhesives, and warned me to never go to anyone who uses glue from China. I didn't want anything dramatic; I have small eyes and was afraid I'd look like Snuffleupagus (remember that Sesame Street character?!). She used the shortest length on me the first time, but on the first refill, used next length up. I'm obsessed with them, and about to schedule my second refills because I never have to buy or put on fake eyelashes or wear mascara anymore! It really makes a difference and it brightens up my eyes.
