This place was solid and get an extra star for awesome flexibility and adaptability. The place is located on the outskirts of downtown. So parking was easy and crowds were small.
So downside first, it's a seafood place which is great (ceviches and other seafood) but everything is cooked in Lard (pig fat) which is pretty traditional Mexican, I get, but super disappointing when you're a pescatarian. And I mean everything the beans, all things fried (fish tacos), tostada shells, chips, etc. We were able to make do and navigate our way around the menu to avoid anything fried, but as you might imagine most Mexican seafood food without Tortillas, tostadas or chips is pretty difficult to navigate. They were super awesome and were able to hook us up with Saltine Crackers - not the traditional experience we wanted but certainly appreciate the effort to help.
We ended up ordering a platter with ceviche, smoked Marlin, a seafood aguachile and a aguachile mixto. It was all very delicious and their selection of salsas was on point - so on point that we dropped by the grocery store to pick some up and take home with us. Although it's unlikely we'll come back, This place is great for those who don't share our dietary restrictions. Oh and the price couldn't be beat about $25 bucks for 2.5 (our toddler) people. read more
