I have very short hair and I'm very picky about my haircuts. I feel like it's so much easier to mess/see the mess up on the shorter hair. I generally tend to cut my hair but I can never get the back right. That's when I happened to come across Robert. I wanted someone that's good with a razor. Robert is *excellent* with the razor. Funny thing is that I never have to tell him what to do, sometimes I just tell him to fix my back and it looks fantastic every single time he does it. Today I went in and told him that I totally neglected my hair, he started working on it, I got up and the cut looked fantastic. It's so nice to have someone that knows you as a customer and knows what they're doing with those tools. Robert is also genuinely friendly and, although I'm sure he has lots of customers, he surprises me every time he remembers the conversations we had last time I was in his chair. read more

Just moved to the area about two months ago, my wife is looking for a place to get her hair done. This business is a half mile from the house, so she booked an appointment for this afternoon. The owner booked the wrong day and a half hour late, but took her at about the time she was supposed to be scheduled for, started cutting, then proceeded to push her off to the side so she could take two walk-ins ahead of her. My wife is a full-time student who also works full-time graveyard shifts. Our days are fairly tightly scheduled. She didn't walk in the door until three hours AFTER her initial scheduled appointment. The work wasn't even finished, and my wife was left with only 15 minutes to get ready and rush out the door. I spoke to the owner, who came to the conclusion that we were the inconvenience to her. Love this place! I've had Robert and Tanya (owner) do my boys' hair cuts and I've been happy each time. My boys are talkative and they are happy to make conversations with my boys. horrible place to get your haircut specially if ur a girl..I got my hair cut here very simple style by Tonya and she manage to mess it up. I'm new to Grand Terrace and had to take my nephew to get a haircut, so I looked up places, and reviews, and saw that this place had the most stars, so I decided to come here. Upon walking in, I wasn't even acknowledged. It was only Robert and another lady, who's name I don't even know, but she's at the far right station. After waiting for over 20 minutes, another customer walked in and was immediately greeted. At that time, the lady finally asked if I was waiting for a haircut, and when I said yes, she sighed, almost as if disappointed, and asked Robert if she could take another haircut. Robert seemed to get almost annoyed at having to do another haircut. It was obvious that they didn't feel like helping me, and that's completely fine, but what irks me the most is that when I finally decided to walk out, the lady, in a very rude tone, said, "umm you're up next!" Umm no thank you! Definitely glad I didn't get helped by these people. read more
