Customer service at this location sucks. The place overall is pretty big and nice. They have a small baby bowling section and pool table. Drinks are okay and food is alright. I think the one honest great thing about Barcode is the music and vibe. They have a great light show, the music had a great range--from Bachata, to R&B, to modern pop and hip-hop, and I especially like how they have a lounge in the back that offers a more relaxed vibe as compared to the "club" scene when you first enter. As for the setup of everything else here, it simply just wasn't that great. Although girls are free at the door, I found the $20+ cover fee for guys to be crazy. In addition, there is a $50 when using a card to pay at the bar. I also had friends who had db pens, Juuls, bottled non-alc beverages confiscated at the door. Although I do see their need for some form of security at the door, this seemed slightly out of hand to me. If these expensive items were going to be taken away, I'd at least expect them to have some type of check-in area, instead of boxes at the front from which they can be stolen from. By doing this, Barcode would be able to make some type of profit if they'd like. Overall, I'd rate the actual club/scene 4 or even 5 stars, had my review been based solely off of that. But the process of getting into this place was just such an unecessary hassle and simply ruined the experience. read more

I'm not exaggerating when I tell you this was the worst experience I've had at a bar in my life. Me and a friend went early to watch the UFC fight. We asked multiple employees what time it was playing and somehow no one knew. Not a big deal, but still a little annoying. As soon as we walk in there's multiple girls "working" behind the front desk, but not even looking in our direction to sit us. It's clear nearly every girl working in that place doesn't like you, and will only speak to you to scam you. Which brings me to my next, biggest complaint. Eventually we get sat down right up against the gigantic television screen, and a waitress comes over. I forgot her name, but this one was actually nice. Later we ask to switch tables because watching the TV at that angle was awful, so she says sure and we switch to a better table. Now we have our new waitress, named estephanie. At this point two more friends join the table. Estephanie comes over, we ask to order drinks and this girl tries convincing me for 5 straight minutes to buy a bottle, swearing to me that I'll end up spending more money if I don't. (Bottles are $200+) I tell her no, she continues to argue with me. Eventually she finally gets two of our drinks, and gives me such a dirty and disrespectful look for whatever reason. We get our drinks, and despite her trying to convince us that the drinks were watered down, we had some really strong drinks for about $12 each, $15 for long islands. Later I ask to just get the check, and she tells me $100 minimum. Notice how I hadn't mentioned that up until this point, because NO ONE told us about a minimum. She then proceeds to try and make me feel stupid by saying "that's why I was telling you to get the bottle" and I told her to just get the manager so I can take it up with him. Again, she argues with me about it. Eventually though she leaves to get him. The manager was nice enough, and although he was also adamant that there is a $100 minimum, I told him no one informed me earlier. Luckily for everyone involved, we were close enough to $100 anyway and ended up just getting a couple more drinks to get it over with. If you're a girl and you wanna go just to stand around and drink, go for it, girls on most nights seem to be free. They charge men $20+ though of course. Usually Barcode is a great place for those who enjoy salsa, bachata, top 40 and are in their early to mid 20's, but tonight was terrible. The DJ they had tonight "Davids" was horrible. I have never heard so much EDM/ House music in my life. What is usually good and enjoyable music was gone and my friends and I were forced to dance to typical "Jersey shore music" which is just bouncing around in the same spot. Barcode is a good place to dance, drink and have a great time. However, they have big balloons that they drop and they aren't liable if those balloons falls on your hookah. They make you buy another hookah when they have balloons flying around everywhere. Also they're hookah has caps on the top which makes it harder when you can't move around the coal or clean off the top. read more

Totally love this place to just relax with a SO or friends to watch a game fight or night out. The buffalo wings & calamari are the BOMB! Also try there Barcode Nachos! They serve in big size. I would say this is the upgraded version of The lobby...the have an outside bar and also pool table and mini bowling area... Flat screens everywhere. Would definitely come back for a night out or to watch a game or fight night. The only downfall I didn't like was they play way too much Spanish music. Should mix it up a bit. Where to start, this place is absolutely terrible overall, and thats hard to be that way co sidering the venue itself is beautiful and the talent they bring in is always great. Let me start by saying I have worked in the nightclub industry for over 30 years, as a promoter, then a DJ then running a small record label. Ive been in and out of clubs all over the world. However, Barcode takes all the classic nightclub scams to crazy extremes. You are basically required to buy some form of a table due to Covid19, which isnt necessarily a bad thing... but I paid1000$ for a poolside table, was left standing outside the door for some unknown reason (door people and bouncer letting a line build and ignoring everyone), then was basically sexually assaulted during the entrance "search". Ive been clubbing for over 30 years and NEVER had anyone spend so much time moving my genitals around to feel underneath and "in between"- insane. Next we are treated rudely by just about everyone from the cashier to the hostess, which was only topped by the cocktail waitress' attitude when she greeted us by saying "so, this is your table but I will need you to spend another $1500 or you cant stay here" I asked what the heck did i pay 1000$ for then if I cant sit here without spending 1500$??? Every club iver ever been to has included cost of admission and alcohol in the price of a VIP table. The management team at Barcode is banking on the fact that after spending 1000$ that you CANT get refunded, you can be extorted for another $1500. They also wont let you in with your cell phone, you have to give them your ID (which they then scan/copy, prob for mailing lists etc) and in exchange they lock up your phone a small gray satchel that you can keep with you when your inside - but cant access your phone, which is ridiculous esp in an emergency. I am responsible for caring for my mom who is 86 and suffers from dimentia, with an aid andy niece at the house so I could get a 1 day break away from everything. They didnt care AT ALL about my situation and was told either hand in my phone or I cant enter AND THEY STILL keep the $1K i spent on the table. Barcode purposely does not disclose any additoonal required fees when you book a table, this is the lowest form of taking advabtage of people and extorting money out of them I have ever encountered. These actions at a minimum are immoral, but I assume have to violate some kind of law as well. Its always tempting to go here because of the lack of other options and given the level of dj talent they bring in. Ultimately, nothing is worth all this nonsense and having your rights striped away while aggressively raping your wallet and having no co sideration for any level of customer service. Do not let them take advantage of you as well. Fyi - Only providing 1 star because i cant tag it with zero, they dont deserve that 1 star rating at all imo. read more

I went to barcode for the first time on January 20, 2018. Us four girls just wanted to celebrate my bff's birthday. We went to the lobby once before and had a great time. We wanted to compare because we heard that barcode was better. We showed up at 7:30 pm. First off the pat down was way too much. It was like we were being felt up on. The scenery is nice. We get our seats, then 5 minutes later someone comes up to us asking if we want hookah then he says we have to pay $250 to eat and drink. Get the f out of here. Not going to happen because we were told as long as u came b4 10 we wouldn't have to pay that price. He could barely speak English. Then we waited for a while b4 my friend had to flag someone down so we could order. A man came up to us and we said we would like to order. He walks away and goes to the back. We're so confused. Then he comes back with water because he obviously didn't understand us because he barely spoke English. We explained how we wanted food. Two waitresses came to our table. So unprofessional. One leaning on the table and the other one was just standing there for no reason. Mind u she could barely speak English as well. After taking our orders (which she didn't even write down) some man comes out with my wings and is walking back and forth. Why would they not tell him which table number to bring it to. My sister's frozen margarita was like a watery slush and sweet as hell. Barely any alcohol. I was all excited to try my very first fish bowl drink. Jack Daniels Punch for $20. These people had the nerve to bring my drink in a freaking sangria glass. Smaller than the fish bowl. They really acted like I was. Boo boo the fool. Trying to tell me it was the same. I told them that I was not paying for that. She walks away, then comes back grabs the drink, goes to the back bar, talking over my drink with some other lady. Then brings it back to the table with another waitress to explain how they don't have the fish bowl while tapping on the rim of my drink. Unsanitary. I wasn't about to drink that ish at all and it wasn't what I ordered. Don't you think you should tell your customers that you don't have fish bowls. The food wasn't even all that. Then charged us more than what we got. We had to wait a out an hour and a half just to get the bill right. Then charge us gratuity for what. Bad as service. There was this one hostess with curly hair that had some sense. She was cool. We wish she was our waitress. I just want to say that I'm Haitian, born here in the U.S. I understand when you can't speak English but for running a business, it's just unacceptable. Not everyone that comes to barcode is Spanish.
