The shows are first-rate, whether locally produced or visiting artists, whether for adults or youngsters, and we plead prejudice since we've appeared on stage in a few of them. That aside, the staff here couldn't be friendlier and more helpful, the newly renovated interior is clean and lovely and the seating mostly comfortable (the leg room can get to be an issue without an intermission, however) and they have some nice snacks and drinks for patrons.

The theater really speaks true to its history and shows you it in every aspect. Although the seats are updated which is a bonus everything else is truly historical. Great venue to watch a show.

Bathrooms downstairs were actually quite clean but damn those steps to get down are dizzying and the top step is def bigger than the rest so watch yo self. Sadly I do not think the acoustics in this venue are that great. Out of the three bands I could not make out ONE lyric when i was standing by the bar and its not like it's that massive or I was far away. It's something they absolutely need to work on bc otherwise what is the point of seeing a band play if you can't even hear them?

I love this place!…read more We came here for a comedy show on Saturday and decided to try some of their food. I went with the Shrimp cocktail and the shrimp used were just perfect! I am always scared when ordering shrimp cocktail due to the fact some establishments use crap grade shrimp, well not this place, they were spectacular. I believe many of the chefs I read graduated from the Culinary Institute of America which is located extremely close to this restaurant, and this could be part of the reason why their food game is on point. My girlfriend got the beef stew, and they gave ample portions of meat with delicious gravy and the mashed potatoes were nothing to sneeze at either. I got a couple Jack and Diet's and the upcharge for a double is not that bad, at the time of writing this I believe it is a four-dollar upcharge. Also got a merlot and it was fresh and delightful. If I lived closer to this place, I would be here all the time. There are several colleges near here, so I assume the vibe is great as well if you are looking to come and have a good time. The train station literally shares there parking lot so if you plan on partaking in a good time with drinks and spirits it would be a good idea to just train it over.
