Nyoka is really super sweet. She's a keeper. I wish she was closer to my place but you know what? I'd still drive to see her. I am thankful to have been referred to her by a friend. When making my appointment, I appreciated that it's all online. There's no calling or having to work through a schedule; it's right there in front of you. Prices are there, it's just plain and simple. Upon meeting Nyoka, she's just so friendly, sweet, and impressionable. Parking is plentiful and the salon employees will point you to the right room. She is super sweet and knowledgeable about the best way to take care of your skin pre,during,post wax. She makes you feel at ease with good conversation and is with you every step of the way, telling you what she's going to do before she does it. Nyoka is hands down the best waxer in the South Bay. I started going to her about 5 months ago when she was at European Wax Center and very happily followed her over to her new shop. She always makes the wax session fun with her bubbly personality and sense of humor. Nyoka only uses hard wax which I love. It doesn't hurt like traditional wax or threading. What a wonderful experience! I just got home from my appointment with Nyoka, and my eyebrows look wonderful! My daughter is getting married next week and I wanted to look my best. I did so much research on Yelp trying to find someone who used wax to shape the eyebrows, which I prefer. Almost all the places I found used the microblading process. For me personally, I like the way my eyebrows are shaped when wax is used. They look more natural. So, to my delight, I found Nyoka at Bare Beauty Waxing. I really needed a professional to shape and clean my eyebrows properly because my eyebrows are blonde and almost invisible without brow powder on them, so I would not have been able to pluck my own eyebrows efficiently. Since the pandemic started in earnest back in March, I have not really worn eye makeup while wearing a mask, and my eyebrows had really gotten out of control. But because they're so blonde, I really was hoping to find a professional to make them look nice again. Everything about Nyoka's business is sheer perfection! She is the sweetest, most friendly and talented waxing specialist. I appreciate all the safety precautions she is taking, with taking my temperature, giving me hand sanitizer, both of us wearing masks, and emailing me a pre-appointment Covid and waxing consent form to complete. I also really like how easy it is to find parking in the large lot outside, and the ease of walking inside the Cutaway Hair Salon to find the door to her little waxing studio. I really like how easy it is to make your appointment on-line and to easily see what days and times are available. It's nice to then get a confirming email. Nyoka is very bubbly and when you have a conversation with her, she will remember what you were talking about when you have to go back to get waxed again!
