Full story below: Found a Sundance boat they had listed and spoke with Marco and Braden about it over the phone in great detail. I explained that I am coming from 9 hours away and would like all the information I can on it as to not waste anyone's time. They explained the boat only had 30-40 hours and had all the maintenance done on it and is 100 percent ready to go except for a small scratch on the hull. I felt comfortable, we negotiated a price, left a deposit and I hit the road. When I got there, Marco greeted me and we began to look over the boat. I asked to see the hour meter and he said there wasn't one. I asked how they knew the hours and they said their mechanic had a computer. I asked we hook it up and it all went downhill from here. Mechanic came out and hooked up his laptop that was probably running windows 95 on it. It could not connect to the engine at all. I asked how he knew the hours if it couldn't connect and he said he doesn't know. I then asked him if he did all the maintenance on it and he said he doesn't remember and to ask Marco. I looked under the cowl of the engine and saw a rusted oil filter with the date "1-31-20" written on it. Obviously the boat hasn't had any maintenance on it in two years and they lied about the work they did to it. I expressed some concern about the unknown hours and Marco's response was "do you want to leave and pass on the boat?" I just drive 9 hours so figured we might as well do a sea trial. We got to the ramp which was actually connected to ANOTHER shop and they had a tech with a yamaha computer. He saw that it had 220 hours on it and they were mostly at wide open throttle. Looked over the rest of the boat and saw 5-6 chunks of gelcoat missing from the hull, much worse then the 1 scratch they mentioned. Sea trial went ok besides for the steering being stiff as a board. The tech and myself both needed two hand to turn the wheel under power which is odd for a hydraulic steering system. Needless to say the boat was not as described. We got back to the office and went in to see Marco. As soon as I sat down he said "The price is the price" I asked if we could call Braden, his boss and see if there was anything we can do about the maintenance that needed to be done and the difference in hours as advertised. He said "no he is not available" even though he has been calling his guys the whole sea trial and inspection. I came with cash and was only looking for a few hundred off the price to offset the maintenance I was told was done and they said "not a chance" I expressed that I thought their business practices were dishonest and do not appreciate being lied to. Marco's response was just "ok". I asked if they were going to fix the boat now that they know these issues and was told "We already have a back up deposit on it" Needless to say we walked from the deal and drove back 9 hours boatless. In addition, while I was there there was a previous customer complaining that their boat is still not working after multiple trips back. He even asked if I would buy it because he was fed up with the problems. It seems like Marco and Braden capitalize on new boat buyers or customers that do not know what to look for. Unfortunately for them, I have been a boater my whole life and will not be taken advantage of.

Don't make the mistake I did. So, my wife and I went to look at a 2016 Tracker Grizzly with a…read morebowfishing platform. Met Brad the salesman. He generally seemed decent and honest. We the boat was dirty and full of leaves . He told me they don't clean them up until they're sold. So ,I figured that if I bought it, they would have cleaned it. Didn't happen! When I picked it up it was still filthy so I guess that should have been my first red flag. Anyway, I was also assured that it had went through a complete function test and service which I unfortunately found out to late was also not done. The first clue that I had been had was the gigging platform lights. I hooked up my generator to them and 1 out of 8 was out . Within 5 minutes, I heard a sizzle and arc sound and all the lights went out. One of the lights shorted out and caused them all to go out. Got that fixed at an out of pocket cost of $300. I also found out that the nav light don't work either. I used the boat 3x and the fourth time, it wouldn't start. Just a clicking sound coming from under the cowling. Come to find out, the starter is toast . Im in the process of replacing that myself because I don't want to spend $800 for a mechanic to do it. Waiting on the part right non. Another complaint is about is the fact I was lied to about a complete service being done to the engine. The oil filter was marked with a permanent marker. The date read 8/2024. I bought the boat in late 2025 so, I was lied to about that as well. Im, in the process of changing the oil myself as well. Im at least handy enough to do minimal maintenance or Id be over $1000 in the hole for deceptive sales practices. My suggestion is to stay clear of this business. There are plenty of boat dealers out there that are hopefully more honest than Millers.
