They have a great selection of everything you can think of. All the figurines and tumbles are reasonably priced and the jewelry is beautiful as well. Staff were friendly and helpfully placed around the store which was nice to see. read more

FYI... all the five star reviews are because the store bribes people with free crystals if you leave a five star review. I really wanted to like this store, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. While browsing with my children, my daughter accidentally knocked over a petite statue that fell and broke. I immediately picked it up, informed a nearby employee, and let them know we would absolutely pay for it. We continued shopping, and when checking out, I again reminded them to include the broken statue in our total. I politely suggested they consider adding a "Do Not Touch" sign in the area where many of the small, kid-friendly statues and crystals are displayed. Instead of acknowledging the suggestion, the sales associate pointed to a general sign near the entrance that says not to leave children unattended. For the record, my child was not unattended--I was standing right beside her when the accident happened and informed the store clerk of such. Her colleague could also confirm this as she was already stalking us nearby when the accident happened. What made the experience especially uncomfortable was how closely the staff hovered around us throughout our visit, despite me immediately taking responsibility for the broken item. When I mentioned how uncomfortable it felt to be watched so closely, the associate attempted to justify it by saying they deal with a lot of breakage, which costs them money. I reminded her that in this case, it wasn't costing them anything--I was fully paying for the broken item. My youngest daughter later told me that the store associates had made her feel like we were villains. That can break a mom's heart, especially when it was an accident and we immediately said we would pay for the broken piece. Overall, the store felt unwelcoming to families and other clientele, with poor signage and a tense atmosphere created by staff behavior. I won't be returning. read more

The fact I have lived in Colorado Springs almost my whole life and visit manitou frequently, and yet still haven't been here until this weekend blows my mind! This is a gem/jewelry/Crystal haven!!! Just walking around looking at everything was so fun! The Crystal water bottles were so cool! My friend bought me one for my birthday and I'm in love with it! The cashier on Saturday the 12th was so sweet and wonderful! She answered a lot of our questions and was wonderful with all the of patrons in the store. We came to Colorado for the holidays this year and stumbled upon this precious shop in Manitou Springs. Literally was the last shop we went into and our kids were tired and cranky. The staff at this place just went above and beyond. One lady interacted and talked with my kids and husband while I shopped with another. Definitely made the experience so much better for my mom anxiety; bringing my kids into a not so kid friendly store. They were all so very knowledgeable about each and every rock and fossil. If I could've I would bought everything in that store! I was able to find three new pieces to add to our home. Again this place was amazing! I was drawn in by the clean, well organized, well lit and colorful presentation. Little did I know that I would soon have a great conversation with Veronica. We talked for a bit and by the end of our talk we ended up with a hug. It is these types of important connections that we need to maintain in our world as humans. It looked cute inside. First time here, I was not greeted like everyone else that walked in right before me, or after me . Everyone else was greeted with a warm welcome . I smiled at the Caucasian worker with the glasses, she did not say a word, nor smile back, she didn't offer me help like to other people. She was right in front of me and she deliberately looked away. None of the other employees welcomed me, nor offered help either . Off the bat, negative energy . not an expert but I felt some of the crystals/ gems ,.....not real. I didn't want to waste my time or money in there, especially how I was being treated as a customer . Pure shit! The rings are not only thin and appear to be thick on their rings, and easily turn odd colors after wearing them for only a couple of days. But the 2 little girls operating the front: a Japanese looking girl and a Caucasian girl (that's literally the only way to describe them). Hounded me and the other person I was with, following us around and watching us like we were criminals. Then tried to accuse one of us of stealing, all 3 employees harassing us at the front door. LITTLE DID THEY KNOW- THE RING THEY WERE LOOKING FOR WAS SITTING IN FRONT OF THEM ON THE COUNTER TOP. We walked out and will never return, and never recommend them. read more

Visitors be careful. Me & my cousin had never been out here before & we were told to visit this town. This store was the first place we entered & my cousin made the mistake of trying on some rings to see if they'd fit her. She had placed all of them back except one she accidentally put on the table instead of it's slot. Instead of pointing tht out & asking us hey I noticed one of the ones you touched isn't in it's place, do you have it or did u place it down here? You can't leave til we find it..that would have been ok & understandable. Instead they had someone block the exit (even though we were standing there complying) & straight up accused my cousin of stealing saying u have the ring & im gonna get my manager out here. We were both in shock & waiting to see how it would play out. Instead of actually checking all the tapes, the man in charge only reviewed the clip tht his biased employee showed him & said we have 17 cameras the nxt thing is the police department will be sent out. Wouldn't it be smart to review the rest of the cameras instead of outright accusing someone of stealing and calling the police on them?No one even apologized for how rudely and hostile they handled the situation. That employee should NOT be working in customer service with how serious that is. I've worked in retail and in financial services my whole life, with that kind of accusation I would be fired on the spot for handling it that way and we'd risk being sued. We weren't even trying to argue or run, these workers need to learn human decency just because we are tourists and young doesn't mean we're going to steal or that we don't have money. That kind of attitude won't get her far along and she needs to be careful on who she accuses and for what as that's how people that are innocent get hurt because of ignorant and uneducated people like that. read more

Beautiful jewelry and stones, including some hard to find stuff but very disappointed due to the TERRIBLE shopping experience- the three female staff that were there hovered over us the whole time, acting super suspicious and audibly accusing every shopper in the store of potentially shoplifting-- stating "watch her, she's going to steal those" about my elderly mother and a few other people in the store. As much as I wanted to stay and look through their beautiful collections, I honestly couldn't wait to get out of the store. Disappointing as I am from out of state and had been looking forward to hitting this store with my family. I do understand that shoplifting is a problem in this town, but accusing every single person in the store of potentially stealing and being SO LOUD about it is ridiculous. read more
