The prices on these vintage pieces are great. This is the kind of place where you hope nobody learns about it, so you can keep it all to yourself. While I was perusing, I saw lots of light fixtures, records, glasses, Pyrex, hats, typewriters, toys, furniture and many other old things. The prices are amazing, and everything is arranged nicely. The people who work here kind of just leave you alone to explore, which I appreciated. This store was fairly well organized but with such a rag tag bunch of merchandise, their staff doesn't have much to work with. Both men's and women's clothing were especially dated and/or damaged somewhat (pilling, gummy from too much fabric softener, stretched out of shape). I found the overall quality here was much lower than most of the Goodwill stores I frequent in Missouri & Oklahoma, which surprised me quite a bit, especially since Emporia is a college town.

The clothing price is substantially less than the locations in Oklahoma. This location the day I stopped didn't have much on the high end of quality but was very well organized and clean overall. It does not have a public restroom ( since I was traveling this would have been a plus ) I spent about $25 in 15 minutes of looking and was very pleased with my finds. I would definitely stop here again if my travels take me within 20-30 minutes drive from here. The staff was friendly and made sure a breakable item was bagged safe for travel. one note for staff, there were not very many size markers on the racks even though the clothing was properly divid... dividers at the beginning of every rack and again when they change is helpful.
