Terribly rude young man!…read more I came to Casa Grande, off season. to take care of my mother after her recent surgery. While she rested, I decided to see what the City had to offer. I thought the consignment shop looked interesting and since I love to shop in antique stores, I went in to see what they had in stock. I was not greeted for at least 10 minutes and when I did finally see an associate, a young man, I asked a question and was met with a rude answer, to which an older gentleman interjected and answered my question satisfactory. I left the store and returned 15 minutes later and was met by the young man again and he demanded rudely that I leave my lidded drink while I browsed the store. All this time he was carrying his own drink. I decided that I would take my business elsewhere. If I could rate my experience with no stars I would.

The guy who helped me was not exactly happy to be there it seems, but he did throw a grunt in my direction as he pulled things out of the back of my car to dump unceremoniously until the blue cart, even after I said some of it was fragile. I was donating these items so they could find a good home, not to have them be just carelessly thrown into a cart without a care in the world. What I was donating was fragile and I told the guy this. I could have saved myself the trip and just thrown my stuff in the nearest dumpster for all the care he showed it. Ticks me off.

Later I had a friend go down and pay and pick it up. when she got their, the owner asked if it was for that daughter. so she knew that this was the same item. she didn't honor the discounted price and now inform my friend it now had a broken piece . she even wrapped the broken piece separately.
