I did some calling around and Chandler police confirmed that crime stats are high at this shopping center... so be VERY aware or give elsewhere.

I didn't see anyone so I took one step inside the doorway and saw the guy in the office. He donned his mask, opened the office door, pointed to his mask with two fingers and then pointed towards the door. I told him I forgot my medical badge in the truck and only wanted to ask a question. He again pointed towards the door. As I started to turn and leave once realizing he didn't want my money he asked "what do you want." I turned back and asked him if they had antennas. He said "no" and shut the door. He may have been the rudest person I have met since I moved to Arizona. I didn't want to walk around his scrap yard anyway.

They also have vendors located around the outskirts of the outlet mall where you can purchase food, desserts, drinks, and other snacks, which is a nice added option while shopping. One thing we do not enjoy is how congested the outlet can become, especially during weekends or when events are taking place in the parking lot. This past Sunday, there was a circus set up in the parking lot, which was very unusual for us to see since circuses are typically held in larger open spaces or fields. In addition, there is construction happening in certain parts of the parking area, making parking spaces tighter and traffic more difficult to navigate. Despite the parking challenges, once we found a spot, we were able to shop around comfortably for the items we were looking for and leave accordingly. The outlet offers a wide variety of shops and is conveniently located right across from the Westgate Entertainment District, making it easy to spend the day enjoying the area.

Every now and then, it's nice to stroll through the Biltmore Fashion Park. My wife and I…read moreoccasionally make it to a meal or to shop or even play at the Biltmore (or yes, a stroll). I also sometimes meet up with friends or family or even head there on my own. There's something for everyone and plenty to see and do; however, some of my favorite stores and restaurants have closed and been replaced over the years. It also happens to be where my wife and I had our first date! The Biltmore Fashion Park is known for some great restaurants. While there are some upscale and casual restaurants there, my favorites include Seasons 52 or True Food for a good meal and Frost a Gelato Shoppe for dessert. I really enjoy having several Fox restaurants at the Biltmore. There are also many other restaurants in the area. Several of the restaurants have great happy hours, too. I miss the Crepe Club though several other restaurants have opened since then. There are also plenty of shops from upscale shops to more casual ones like Lululemon and Sakes 5th Avenue. There are fancy clothing stores that my wife may enjoy though I typically enjoy the nice courtyard or seating outside some of the stores while she shops. Then, we grab a bite somewhere together. I miss the Apple Store and Sharper Image but look forward to what is opened next. There are also experiences from the Sip & Stroll (where you can enjoy a beverage from one of six restaurants and then walk around), meet-up with the Phoenix Run Club, the Art Walk, the Swiftie Liftie Outdoor Workout Class, or one of a number of galas or special events. Went up from San Tan Valley for a well publicized "Yappy Hour" apparently held monthly in the mall…read morecourtyard. What fun even though it was 90 minute drive for me. Decent parking and I found a close handicapped space for the van. Event started promptly at 5:30. A few vendors including our very own Yelp Elite Event spot in Gilbert -Pixie sticks. They had a nice boutique there with an assortment of their items for sale. Joining them with booths were PetSmart (pup cups), a couple dog rescue orgs, and a Halloween photographer. There was also great music and really good cash bar making some excellent cocktails. It was a free event. The cocktails were $9 apiece... decent value. Topped it off with dinner at ZinBurger before I left. There's a few great restaurants up there, so will probably back despite the long drive.

They have sports team apparel at higher prices, but better prices than you see in other retail outlets! Lastly, they have a dept that can put logos on anything you need in bulk. They assign you a sales person if this is something you need. Go to Antigua for great prices on sports apparel for play or work!
