It's an easy place to become a regular just based off of the bartenders alone (Tori is a gem, she won't fail to make you laugh). They have great merch like shirts, sweatshirts, stickers, pins, shot glasses, etc. (I designed a few of their stickers while I was in college a decade ago, so glad to see they still sell them grab a buffalo drinking a PBR that I drew while drinking a $1 PBR at the Nickel one night in 2015). Popcorn is available, bubble hockey is a must, try a Nickelade or a green tea shot. I know they had a build your own Bloody bar at one point but I'm not sure if it's a regular thing anymore, if you see it happening don't miss it. If he doesn't want to play them and doesn't accept requests then he should say that and that's totally respectable. The waitress looked at me suspiciously and said "Well what's wrong with it?" I told her it was mostly the texture and it didn't really taste like spinach and artichoke dip. She said she would ask the owner. He said no. I don't believe the customer is always right but in this case, we weren't wrong. The dip is terrible. So understand, you're going to buy terrible food and it will not be taken back. Side note: The rest of the food wasn't good either but i was hungry enough to get half of my sandwich down. Some dishes were on a salty side, but overall amazing meal. The service was great. We had Cassie on the first night and Jamie on the second night. The slaw was sweet & solid. The star I would have docked for could be cleaner overall (those displays collect stuff) & faster in service gets a wash from the detail and time well-spent on that service. I'd much rather wait a little longer & leave feeling human. So, maybe we could all slow down a bit & pay more attention to detail.
