I had a peaceful walk and stopped in for a breakfast to complete my morning. The place was not busy as at sat outside it was several seats available. I genuinely think my complaint is just a case of not being self aware. Feeling the energy between your tables is very important to offer a pleasant restaurant experience. The young waitress greeted nicely but was being a brush off and rushing. I was inquiring about the things in the menu and instead of giving proper feed back she just kept saying "I can give you more time". Although she claimed to be doing me a favor, I kept coming with more questions both my son and I both had and just didn't get the idea of offering more in put. It felt I was holding her up, but she honestly wasn't that busy. When I asked for another waitress she told her boss and personally her boss didn't handle it appropriately so I see where it trails down from. Proper training in customer service is needed. The manager came over when I called her over but at first she walked past my table like nothing ever happened. Assisting the customer as soon as you're available is protocol to any business. I waited after she attended several tables. She excused the younger girls behavior as she just talks fast but she was not very well servicing to my needs. Maybe to others she was but, as a retired server myself it takes experience and someone to tell you their disaffection for you to be aware of your actions and not to do it again. We were in the area and couldn't decide on a breakfast place so we ended up at Baritalia. They are in the Chevron Renaissance complex which has free parking in the garage below. The breakfast menu had a few interesting dishes and we ended up ordering a pizza and bacon and egg roll. Of course this is Australia so its not crispy bacon like in America, but more of a ham. The sandwich was alright though. It was good but nothing special. Same with the pizza. The service was fantastic and thats one thing we definitely loved. I would potentially give this another try during lunch or dinner hours. read more

You feel like you have been transported away from the hustle and bustle of surfers once you step into Baritalia, which provides an almost soothing edge to your meal. The service was a little relaxed from one of the staff but otherwise fine. The breakfast options are your usual fare albeit with the addition of a nice relish on their largest AM option. The highlight for me was their coffee crafted by a deft hand and something I would go back for. Overall a pretty good experience that could have been elevated with some small touches. So....not gonna lie. I ate here twice in one day. We stopped in to grab something light to eat to tide us over till dinner. Had a couple of appetizers and that was good. But I had been wanting pizza for ages, and we saw a pizza go to a table nearby so we decided we'd go back for pizza and wine later. We left, and a few hours later returned, and they recognized us and even gave us our same table, ha! I have to say, although I'd never been compelled to stop in before, it was a nice atmosphere to sit and casually enjoy some food and beverages. When we ordered the pizza we also got the pork belly, which was killer! The pizza was pretty good, but not my favorite down on the coast. Definitely check this place out, good food and a chilled out place where you can feel comfortable. read more

Just finished our family holiday in sufers and ate almost every day at baritalia. Service and food was always so prompt, the owner was also so welcoming as we got to know him over our week stay. It was so nice to have found our coffee place in the mornings and somewhere to eat with the kids and not worry about what to eat because the menu was amazing and lots to choose from. Pasta was yummy and the pizzas are huge we never left hungry, my favourite was the spaghetti with vongole and the homemade gnocchi.
