Kaitlyn was very communicative and patient with my westie. Even gave some recommendations for a nearby vet.

Anxious dog or difficult traveling to salon - this is your answer. Our 5 year old, 70lb Golden…read moreRetriever Sonny, grew increasingly anxious for trips to the groomer to the point he laid down in the middle of a busy parking lot and refused to move. I learned about Furry Land on a fb neighborhood group. We have used their services for over a year now and we couldn't be happier. Appointments are easy to make online and communication via text messages are convenient. The mobile salon van arrives on time and the groomers are all so nice, professional and caring. This time Grace traveled to us in the frigid Temps (when all the schools are closed type of cold) and greeted us with a smile. She took time to talk to me about Sonny and the plan for the grooming service. She listened and gave Sonny pets and attention before taking him to the van. With Sonny right out front in the van I had less anxiety too and no time traveling to drop him off or pick him up as he was right there. I went about my weekend chores while Sonny got washed and trimmed. After about 1 hour and 20 minutes Sonny and Grace returned and He was still anxious and excited but no car ride to extend his anxiety, I was able to comfort him immediately. While we talking about how the service went and finishing up, Sonny had a little bleeding from his front nail and Grace noticed it and went into action. She examined his paw then ran out to bring in the quick clot and apply. The bleeding stopped right away. Grace reassured us that the bleeding was likely increased due to his anxiety and pressure being up, it would heal and it did. Sonny looked like himself again! No more Grinch Paws and his fur was shiny and soft. Our fluff ball was back. The full service costs about $25-30 more than our previous groomer but it is well worth it for us. Honestly without this option I don't know what we will do so I hope they continue this awesome service for all the pets like our Sonny. Besides all the convenience, I have to say how thankful we are for the great staff! These people are truly all incredible with such sweet personalities that make us feel very comfortable- big big Thank you Grace and team.

Both Melissa and Nick have done phenomenal jobs on her and I am most impressed by how the management communicates! We had to reschedule her appt based on the holidays and they did everything they could to accommodate. They made it happen! I am VERY particular about the quality of care for every member of my family and do not compromise. Furryland Land exceeds all of my expectations.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If you are considering a grooming appointment, DON'T…read more My dog is a senior, double-coated giant breed. It was 97 degrees today, and he was dropped off for his grooming appointment at 8:30 a.m. He has never taken more than 4 hours to groom. I hear nothing by 1:30 and call them to see what's going on. The groomer acts INCREDIBLY shady when I check in and tells me it's taking long because he has "a lot of hair" I even told her "This feels really uncomfortable" and she laughs and assures me all is well. I should have known then. By 4PM, I again still hadn't received a single phone call, text, or update. After nine years of regular grooming, no groomer has ever kept him anywhere close to that long. I completely understand that giant breeds are physically demanding to groom, which is why I always tip generously--typically 40% or more. I've even had groomers ask if I was sure I meant to leave that much. My gut was screaming at me to go check on my dog so I did. I rush over to discover that my dog has been sitting in the back ALL day and they were only just beginning to start his cut. AFTER EIGHT HOURS. Instead of receiving a sincere apology, I was met with excuse after excuse: the groomer was new, he has a lot of hair, giant dogs take longer, etc. The manager was so incredibly nasty and dismissive, and the groomer even giggled during our conversation. "I told you I was junior hehe!" as if I heard her or even knew what that was supposed to mean. If it takes you three days to groom a dog maybe reconsider your profession. What was borderline abusive is what happened after I left. My dog immediately pulled me toward the nearest patch of grass and desperately needed to go to the bathroom. After being there for eight hours, it was clear he hadn't had a potty break ALL day. He is a SENIOR DOG. No dog should be left in a crate for an entire workday without communication to the owner. If they were running that far behind, someone should have called so I could have picked him up or rescheduled. Instead, he spent the day waiting while I had no idea what was happening. They clearly do not know how to manage their appointments and all of the dogs pay the cosequences in their grooming sweatshop. My dog was EXHAUSTED, so thirsty and so hungry for being forced to stay there ALL DAY while they took dog after dog instead of him. SHAME ON YOU PETCO. I won't be returning, and I strongly encourage other pet owners to stay far away as they obviously do not care. They tried to block my Petco account so I couldn't provide feedback but don't worry gals - I'll share my story across every platform I can find.
