Found this salon through a doodle friend on Instagram! I am very particular about how I like my doodle's hair cut. With our new puppy, we wanted a place that was small, quiet, skilled and very caring. Top Knotch is all of that and more. They are focused on health and wellness of dogs, which is evident by their selection of foods to purchase and how they treat the animals. They are incredibly knowledgeable. Debbie, Greg and Sarah are the kindest people and really do an amazing job. I do not mind driving 30 minutes to this place because they do an exceptional job and I know my dog is being well cared for during her grooms. read more

I met the owner at a Pet Fair in Waukesha that she had a booth at. I offered to pay her to cut my 12 year old border collies nails. She did them for free, but that wasn't the best part, she was so good with my older dog and was so caring that I now make the drive from West Allis to Lannon to take all 3 of my Border Collies there. She is so good caring for the older dog and the first time I picked her up she looked like a puppy. She was silky and smooth and clean and smelled awesome. I recommended a friend to go to her that had rescued a Border Collie that has some people issues...her dog did great there, no issues at all. The dogs always come home with new bandanas and happy attitudes! I highly recommend her services! read more

Very unprofessional and condescending. The way I was spoken to was very rude. Took my Pomeranian in to get groomed and the owner basically called me a liar when I spoke to her about brushing. She refused service saying there was to much matting in the undercoat , though she groomed him a few months prior .Would NEVER recommended to anyone . read more

These guys are awesome! Just started taking our new puppy here and they are really great with slowly introducing your puppy to their shop. Each visit she's there for a couple of hours and they just do a little bit more each time so that she settles in. They take great care of her. The owners are also extremely knowledgeable about the overall wellness of your dog and have a lot of good information and recommendations for how to keep your dog healthy. Today was our first trip to Top Knotch & I am incredibly impressed! Ezra is an anxious, sensitive pup, so we were both nervous to try a new groomer after moving down to the area. There is no need to be nervous here! When I picked him up, not only did he look glorious, but the staff & owner (I'm assuming?) were all very kind and knowledgeable. My dog came back from this groomer scooting, with tail between legs, searching for place to hide. My dog acts like there is a lot of pain going on & will be going to the vet, ASAP. When I called Top Knotch to find out if anything had happened during grooming, the owner was extremely rude. I will learn how to groom myself before ever going to this place again! read more
