Being a lab, he still "acts like" a puppy but looks like a big dog, and as we work long hours, we knew he needed lots of exercise and socialization with other dogs. He adores going out with Becki and the pack, and she has helped to ensure he continues to have good habits (like working with him on skills like responding to being called). It's important to me that an Adventures Unleashed pack run, in addition to being very active and social, usually lasts over a couple of hours, which really helps give our goofball of a dog lots of time to expend his excess energy. He's happier, and we are thrilled! One additional thing -- Becki at Adventures Unleashed really cares about the dogs that do Adventures Unleashed. I've seen her go the extra mile (so to speak) for our dog and other dogs in her care many times, and she always finds a way to help out the dogs and their owners when they are in need of her assistance. Adventures Unleashed also offers first-class house-sitting with your animals, and we've used this service when we've gone away for several days to a week. I almost feel guilty coming back because I know how much true FUN our dog has had while we are gone. We can't say enough good things!

Apparently lucky dog mobile groomers New York is kind of like Uber, you text them what you need…read moredone and when and they send the lucky dog groomer and truck. It's quite a bit more expensive (nearly double) but you do get the convenience of the groomer coming to your house. A groomer arrived right on time and texted me to bring my dog out to the truck. Obviously she should come to the door and introduce herself, just basic manners though I explained that I could not bring him out to the truck, i just had knee replacement surgery and she would have to come in and get him. No answer. She just sat out there in the truck. Finally I leash up the dog and hobble out to the driveway. I had to knock to get her to come out and again she didn't introduce herself. I explain what needs to be done and she questioned whether he even needed grooming! He has very curly tight fur, I told her to take him as short as possible, and that he had not been groomed for two months! It's like she had never seen a poodle or on my case a mini golden doodle before. I hobbled back in the house. She texted me that he was done and again to come out and get him! So I again tell her I can't and please bring him in. Nothing. I tell her again to bring him in. She finally came in the front door and just stood there, not calling a greeting. I finally say I'm in the kitchen. She brings him in and he looks just ok. This gets worse. She asks me if I have any super glue. There's only one reason a groomer needs that and she should have most definitely have had some with her. Yup, she cut him on his front right armpit. He was bleeding when she finally left which of course ended up on the furniture and carpet. More importantly my poor little dog! They don't take personal checks. She is not able or allowed to run a credit card but she does finally say she can send a link to their servicer. I was charged almost a $6 fee for this, I did not tip her which partially made up for the fee. So my little guy looks just ok, his leg stopped bleeding eventually, and obviously I would never book with them again.

No one showed up! I had to reach out to the contact and it was confirmed the groomer was running late... however NO one told me the customer I called the NY number and was told that they would reach out to the groomer and update me with a eta.. never happened! I called back and canceled as it is over 1 hour from my schedule appointment. Lastly i received a text message from lucky dog and it said "I'm so sorry the day started to just off" Wow terrible customer service I will not recommend or use this service!
