Wet pukey dog smells really yucky, so I decided it would be worth it to pony up some money and get the girl a bath. I called around and Groomingdales picked up right away and quoted me a price of $40. I took her straight away, and they accomadated us without a wait. 2 hours later she was cleaned, nails trimmed and she seemed pretty happy. Will definitely be going back.

Nail trims have always been a huge issue for us, especially at the vet. They would leave his nails too long, and over time the quick kept growing out, turning his nails into literal bear claws. It got to the point where I didn't think we'd ever get them back to a normal, healthy length. I originally found Jess for my labradoodle Mabel and just happen to ask her about my Louie's nails . Not only did she trim his nails as short as safely possible, she did it with incredible gentleness and patience. Louie was calm, comfortable, and completely at ease -- which NEVER happens. But what truly sets Jess apart is her knowledge and care. She's actively working on helping the vein recede over time so his nails can return to a normal length instead of those "eagle talons."
