My fiancé went into this store to look around for the 1st time. It was a cold day so I stayed in…read morethe car. When he returned he said, "It's REALLY good you didn't come with me into the store!" I asked what happened. He told me an unleashed aggressive dog was standing directly inside the entrance and loudly snarled and growled at him as he tried to enter the store. The female owner of the dog&store told him the dog was a "rescue" and that it didn't take a liking to men. I have documented allergies to dogs and also fear them for their unpredictable nature as what happened when he casually walked into the store. It's a shame because he probably would have bought me something warm to wear if the dog had not been there growling at him. Also, I only buy second hand from smoke&pet free homes/stores. *Message to management: I've never owned a clothing store, but I've worked at one. It's very important for customers to feel safe and welcomed when trying on clothes and window shopping. In what world is it considered civilized to have an unleashed, untrained and aggressive dog positioned at the head of the store? You are actively discriminating against men shopping at your store by bringing this dog to work. Men like to surprise their girlfriend or wife or mother with something nice to wear from time to time. If you don't have liability insurance for potential dog bites when a man enters your store it might be time to get some. Or, better yet, just install a modern security system and leave your aggressive dog at home or bring it to a shelter. You will be doing the city of Raleigh and it's citizens a favor.

Made a serendipitous stop at Gail and Grace Boutique while awaiting an appointment. The gorgeous…read morewindow dressings drew me in while on my way to wet my whistle at Mission Market. Unique and brightly colored apparel and gifts "graced" the large front window displays. I was greeted warmly by Lisa. She knew her inventory well and made several suggestions for me; I tried on multiple items including a ruffled dress with metallic thread detail. She educated me about the unique brands behind Queen of Sparkle and Shu Shop sneakers. They carry stretchy Risen jeans, too. You can find lovely pieces to bring a unique look to your everyday wardrobe or for a special occasion. They also offer pretty accessories. Need a gift? You can find it there. I'll be back to see what Gail and Grace will offer for fall as my summer wardrobe is overflowing. Also, I'll be back for holiday gift shopping. Worth a visit! And, why not? The owners wanted to create a store within their community that supports businesses. Amber Said that " you shouldn't have to choose between doing good and looking and feeling your best." That's why they offer you style with a story! I came in and I was greeted right away by one of the owners Amber she was so nice! She showed me around the store and told me the story behind the business and the venders she supports. She also shared the range of price points on items in her store. The clothing range from $30-70. There were only a few pieces over $100. They also carry jewelry ranging from $16-$80 dollars. I know what you might be thinking kind of pricey, but the brands of jewelry they carry are empowering others. The brands restore power and offer outreach to women who have experienced challenges. IE: Addiction, homelessness or have been victims of human trafficking. You can purchase everything online and you can find out more information about the brands on how they give back on their website! You can also book a giveback gathering via there website. I really enjoyed my visit at Rose and Lee Co and I will defiantly be back for a wardrobe session with Prisca in the near future!
