Unique and brightly colored apparel and gifts "graced" the large front window displays. I was greeted warmly by Lisa. She knew her inventory well and made several suggestions for me; I tried on multiple items including a ruffled dress with metallic thread detail. She educated me about the unique brands behind Queen of Sparkle and Shu Shop sneakers. They carry stretchy Risen jeans, too. You can find lovely pieces to bring a unique look to your everyday wardrobe or for a special occasion. They also offer pretty accessories. Need a gift? You can find it there. Joan Simpson, co-owner asked me if I was taking pics. I told her I was checking messages after sitting for hair color/cut and Manicure. Thought this was a strange question but saw a cute red dress so went to check it out again. Maria Ortega, the other co-owner came to me and asked me to leave the store and never visit their store again. I was not given an explanation other than they thought i was taking pics and didn't want me in the store ever again. I offered to let them see my phone. I responded that I had no reason to take pics except on one occasion back in the winter when I needed an opinion on an outfit for Vegas!! Yes I am guilty of checking my phone when I'm out shopping BUT never thought I would be ousted from a store because of it. I have spent $$$ at Sophie & Mollies Boutique; taken out of town friends to shop there; recommended it and even invited one of the owners, Joan to join me with other Silpada friends in Vegas last Feb. I was pissed and angry about this incident. Joan said I must be guilty of something to be so angry. I told her I was so angry because I have high morals and really offended that they would oust me from the store. By the way I still get emails from them inviting me to visit! Maxx & HomeGoods with three business tops, a pair of shoes, and a travel pillow. It is nice that both T.J.Maxx and HomeGoods are together in the same space - it makes finding unique buys and deals easy! It is a clean and beautiful store with friendly staff. The cashiers are warm and you can easily find staff around who can help you find things. It is well-stocked and has a large variety of unique finds, so every store visit is like a treasure hunting experience. I also feel like I'm getting great deals and bargains when I shop there because they sell quality items that last me a long time and at great prices. T.J.Maxx & HomeGoods is also located at a prime location at Beaver Creek Crossings, which is a beautiful large shopping place with a mix of national retailers, contemporary brands, and distinctive shops and dining. If you are in need of a gift for yourself or others this is the place to go. Since it was a house previously, the Studio has a special comforting atmosphere. Although numerous items line the shelves, it doesn't seem overwhelming. The items are organized well and it's easy to navigate the area. The only difficult part was trying to narrow down what to purchase. The items are well made and the scattered amigurumi are incredibly adorable. I didn't even realize I wanted a crochet pop tart until now. I ended up purchasing several items as gifts. If you are unsure where to start, the co-owners are helpful and welcoming.
