Very good experience taking my dog here. I called to make an appointment and they offered to have me bring my dog in right away for a wash if needed, but since he needed a full grooming I opted to bring him the following week. I dropped him off and he was ready in around 2 hours. They did exactly what I asked as far as the length of certain areas of his coat and did a great job getting the fur trimmed around his toes as he picks up a lot of stickers on his feet. The owners are very nice and personable, you can tell they really love animals and take good care of them. Will be coming back for sure. read more

First, let me say it is Always an Amazing experience at Bark, Bath & Beyond. Jason takes Princess from me to the back for her spa time and, my baby never even looks back. The products they use are top notch. They make her smell wonderful and, she is soooo soft. Meagan really does wonderful work. She is extremally talented. I am really particular about who I will let groom my Princess. I actually drive around 150 miles to have her groomed here, and it is absolutely worth it. It doesn't take them long to get her done and, I know my Standard Poodle is a lot of work. You can tell Jason and Meagan really care about our babies. Thank you both and we'll see you next time!! She came home and was playful and ate a huge meal, that's a sign that she had no stress. They do NOT value their customers. I have been going to them since 2019. We were late 2x in those years. This last time I was 10 minutes late. First I live 30 minutes away and I remind them of this every time because they call you when your dogs are done. Yesterday they called me at 3:28 to tell me my dogs were ready. I got in my car right away. Highway 26 sometimes has traffic issues. Coming out of my community, I was behind a school bus that stopped. You can not go around a bus when the stop sign is out. When I noticed I was going to be late I called and Jason answered. I explained I got stuck behind a bus and that I would be there late. I walked in at 4:10 and paid. Right after I finish paying Jason said "Megan will no longer groom for you because you do not respect her time. Your dogs were matted and your dogs do not like me when we have to brush out the matts." He also pointed out that we had not been there for 3 months. (this is incorrect it was two months. I called three week ago and the soonest they could get me in was Wednesday but text me Tuesday and said they had to groom them on Thursday because Megan's dog went into labor. Before that they would not groom one of my dogs because she was pregnant. Jason said Megan had to take his car because she had puppies at home to take care of and that he did not know how he was going to get home. My response was., "No problem I can give you a ride home. " He got really mad and turned red and said very loud "NO!" He kept going on very loud and mean about me not respecting their time. I have never seen him like this. I simply said "your mind is made up" and left quickly because he was scaring me with the tone of his voice and how red he was turning. read more

Megan's the best! Her exceptional grooming skill level, impressive knowledge of dogs, and her love for our pups give me great peace. We've taken all our dogs to her for the past 5-6 yrs. One of our pups, Joey, is a sweet 14 yr old cockapoo w/ advanced heart disease who takes multiple meds and needs extra care concerning his stress level and skin problems. I can heartily confirm that Megan has gone out of her way to provide him a calm paced environment, a perfect cut for his specific needs, and she texts me as soon as she's done, which creates a profoundly more peaceful environment than we've experienced elsewhere. And I love what she does for him... so cute! And her prices are extremely reasonable, plus she sends out appt reminders. :) One more thing that I appreciate - she's very personable plus runs her business very professionally. On a side note... I have an elder friend who has a long hair little 5 yr old pup - and my friend knows exactly what she wants of a groomer. She used to go to Megan but had to move, and now after 2 yrs of looking, she can NOT find a groomer to do a quality grooming cut as Megan did. So, is she better than others? YES. 12/19/19: We took our dog 49 lbs, named Niko, to Megan ( first time) and had a bath, etc. Our biggest issue with Niko is her double coat of fur. It is everywhere. Megan was able to bring it under control. We were so pleased with the results we will implement a plan of regular appointments to maintain better control. Niko is a cross between english bull dog and border collie, if that helps any others with similar issues. Most importantly, Niko did not seemed afraid or unhappy being with Megan, when we picked her up from the appointment. read more

They do a good job but they aren't very caring for their customers. I took my French Bulldog here and we liked the service so I made an appt for my other dogs, and I happened to fall that week and break my leg. And I completely forgot I had the appt for my 2 dogs or I would have called. I was in the hospital for surgery, and out of it for 2-3 days on pain medicine. I called today to make a new appt now that I can walk again, and they want to Charge me $50 extra for missing the last appointment.. I won't be coming here again. And I tipped $20 last time I had came. I'm a good person, I tip well, I have 5 dogs that I planned on bringing all here once I could walk again.. but after showing no compassion after I said "I'm sorry I broke my leg and I forgot to call, i will pay $25 extra for the inconvenience but not $50," there response "we'll have a good day!" How rude... no compassion at all.... Will go to the next groomer in town and take my 5 dogs and tip them $20 per dog each time... a lot of business u guys missed out on now. Have some compassion next time, I was willing to pay half, u guys didn't have to be rude like that. Life happens. I own a business as well and we treat our customers like family.
