The staff at AC was super nice and helpful. They were also very quick to respond to my call which is always a plus! As far as the grooming went... they did a great job cleaning him up and making him look extra sharp and spiffy. Make sure you have cash or check though because CC are not accepted. Yesterday morning I called to schedule grooming appointments for our dogs. My first call went to a message stating they were either experiencing a high call volume or were closed. I called back 3 more times over the next couple of minutes, but no one answered. I had 2 meeting coming up and would not be available if I left a message After waiting about 10 minutes, I called again and someone answered. I heard "Hello" and that the call was being recorded. I asked if there were any grooming appointments available next week. The manager immediately responded by asking if I was the person who had just called multiple times. I said yes, and before I had a chance to explain that I was simply trying to get through to schedule an appointment, he told me that calling repeatedly was rude and that I would not be receiving any services from them. He then hung up on me. I was surprised by the response and attempted to call back twice to clarify that I was not trying to be rude, but my calls were not answered. Later, my wife called and spoke with the same manager. He stated that he was with a customer and that I should have known that repeatedly calling was rude. I had assumed this was a business line with multiple lines, but we later learned it is actually a cell phone, and I assume he doesn't know that you can silence them. My wife asked to have the owner contact her to discuss the situation, but more than a day later we have still not received a response. Based on this experience and the way the situation was handled, we will not be returning and unfortunately cannot recommend this business to others.

He is high anxiety and a little aggressive but the owners said it wouldn't be a problem at all and they took him with open arms! After we dropped them off, they spent time bonding with him and playing his favorite game, fetch. They took him for daily walks and played with him. They also sent us pictures and updates. I couldn't be more than happy! When we came to pick up our dog, he was happy to see us but now that he's home, I think he wants to go back! Overall, the owners were wonderful and sweet and took all of our concerns with our dog seriously. They went above and beyond to not only make us feel comfortable but our dog as well! I highly recommend them and plan to use them in the future!

I called comfort clips pet spa made an appointment to get his nails trimmed. When I got there, the lady was very friendly and professional. I told her that my dog might be a little hard to get his nails cut. She told me it would not be a problem. She said if you want you can wait here it'll take about five minutes. I waited and he was talking a lot, but they stayed firm and were able to cut his nails. I made an appointment to have my dog be groomed at a later date. I'm very happy with this place and would highly recommend it.

Tina's was one of the few places I found that would take care of a bird. I originally booked her for three days in July for a wedding, but the emergency required me to use her service for a total of two and a half weeks (before and after the time I already reserved). At the initial visit, I was told they bring in mail and take out trash (included), but they didn't take the trash out (for two weeks). The twenty-minute visits soon became seven-minute stops. When I asked if she could stay a few minutes to talk to my bird, the owner said that would be extra and I needed to book the thirty-minute visit. She charged to create an invoice, to come at 7am (before office hours), to come on a holiday, to run to the store for veggies (I left money to buy the veggies, this was a trip charge), and to return my keys. Then, when I requested a refund for the last shift, she said I didn't cancel the appointment in time. I notified her twice through her own portal. But that wasn't the same as saying the word "cancel", yet no one showed up for the last shift. She kept stating she was doing be a favor, squeezing me in, and maybe I should just hire a teen, but that would be sketchy. I know I won't be hiring her next time!

We finally made the decision to go through a breeder and began extensive research. We reviewed every breeder within a 4 hour driving distance of Charlotte. Temperament was most important, followed by size and cost. We originally set a budget of $1,500 but quickly reaalized that kept us in the backyard breeder category. Don't get me wrong. We visited one of these breeders and her new puppies. Her home was gorgeous and her dogs were well cared for but she lacked the proven track record we were hoping for. We spoke to a few more breeders but I wasn't happy with the inconsistency in litters. Many breeders were just breeding multiple dogs and they were coming out different sizes, with a variety of temperaments and coats. Again, I didn't want surprises. Long story short, we came upon Doosouth and although they were priced outside of our original budget we decided the extra cost was worth the quality. The things I liked off the bat: *Ed was very informative and happy to answer all of my questIons via phone. We spoke multiple times and he was always accommodating. *They've been in operation for over 13 years and breed multigenerational Labradoodles - and JUST labradoodles. *He was one of the few breeders who let us come out to meet both the mom and dad and get a peek of the pups. They hadn't had their first round of shots yet so we couldn't interact with them. *The price ranges between $1,850- 2,150. Although it's not the lowest around, it's very fair and competitive. *The kennel facility they have on their property was well organized and they seem to genuinely care about their dogs. After our initial visit we were satisfied and put down a deposit. In 2 weeks we go back to pick out and take home our new pup. Update to follow!

I am shocked by some of these reviews. I have never had any issues. My most recent Golden is elderly and they take such good care of her. Our last Golden was exhibiting some concerning symptoms while being groomed. The owner called me to discuss and sent me pictures so I could show the vet. I highly recommend them!
