Unsure about this place. Price was reasonable. My dog was placed in the fenced area with many other dogs. They never inquired as to whether my dog was good in that setting. I also specifically requested the teddy bear cut for my tshitzu. They didn't complete that cut whatsoever. I probably won't return. There many other groomers in the area. read more

I took my labradoodle to Jesse for the 2nd Time, first experience was good!! Second Time I showed her a picture of what I wanted And she looked at me like I was stupid and said "So what's different" my response was please trim Him up and trim and Dremel his nails please... When I picked him up an hour later and got him Home we realized his hair was the same length And nails still long!!! I'd heard great things about Jessica at the Barking Beauty Parlor so called and made an appointment for my two shitzus to be groomed. Jessica was attentive to detail when I took them in, asking about my preferences for the finished look and also about the dogs and their needs. I really like that the dogs are not put in cages while waiting to be groomed or to be picked up afterwards, but are allowed to hang with each other in the large enclosed grooming room. I mentioned that my little female dog is crabby with other dogs so she was put in a smaller fenced area so she wouldn't bother or be bothered, but could still be in the same big room with the others and the people. Great plan! When I picked the pups up, I was thrilled with the results! They looked fantastic- not too short (which is what I asked for) but very nicely trimmed and turned out. My little male is a sweet sweet boy but not the most handsome, and Jessica did wonders with him!! He's never looked better. She even got his face very well trimmed which is quite the challenge with him. I can highly recommend Jessica at the Barking Beauty Parlor!!! read more

Thinking we would need to reschedule, I called Pam and instead she told me to come right away and she would take care of everything, and take care of everything she did with a great sense of humor to boot. Jess is the BEST! We have taken our 1-year-old Goldendoodle to Jess since our move/arrival in Ashland, Oregon. Jess takes great care of our dear Maddie during her grooming session. She sends text updates with pictures along the way and is great in communicating with you whilst you leave your pet in her care. The last time we were in - we learned that little Maddie had foxtails embedded in her toes (we are new to Oregon and new to foxtails). Jess spent additional time working on our girls feet and cleaning them up/out. She recommended that we take her to the vet to confirm that there was no infection. Fortunately, Jess got every inch of them out and we were only prescribed antibiotics to ensure that there was no infection. Jess text'd to make sure that everything was ok. If you are like us (and consider your pets your children), I can tell you that you will feel 100% confident in selecting Jess/team to be your groomer. read more
