Ruby has been going to daycare here for over 6 months and absolutely loves it. She also boards (and I feel strange calling it boarding) with Joel and his family -- in their home -- when I need to go out of town. Ruby knows the moment we turn onto 7th Ave that's she's going to City Tails and her tail starts wagging and she literally takes off, pulling me to Leroy street. From Ruby's excitement and my own interactions, it's clear that everyone that works at City Tails is incredibly friendly and truly cares about the dogs. Joel is also really flexible -- need to change your drop off / pick up time last minute? Need to head out of town last minute? Change of plans and don't need doggy day care that day? It's NEVER an issue!!! Oh, and Ruby always comes home exhausted! I honestly don't know what I would do without City Tails as part of Ruby's village!

It's like leaving your dog with your family!…read more I've been to 5 different daycares in the city and CityTails is by far the best in terms of customer service, reliability, cleanliness and their genuine love of dogs. My dog is always soo excited to go to that place and I feel comfortable knowing I'm leaving her in the best care! The dogs are well taken care of, always monitored and given a lot of attention throughout the day. 10/10 would recommend.

NYC Doggies also provides hikes for dogs where they can go out of NYC and run around off leash for a bit which was great during the first set of lockdowns in NYC when it was difficult for my dog to get the exercise he needed. While my dog did not always have the same walker each time, the walkers were consistent and my dog became very comfortable with them and the dogs that he would walk with bringing a stable and familiar environment for my dog. I have not used another dog walking service in NYC other than WAG for last minute needs, so I don't know how this compares, but I would highly recommend NYC doggies.

Our pups were frequent flyers at the Dog Spa, it was their second home and happy place. We have one very extroverted puppy and another who is a salty old man. Both were treated equally and with so much care and love. The staff at the Dog Spa are angels. We trust them implicitly and can't wait for an excuse to bring our pups back for a reunion. At other daycare spaces she was ignored and stressed out all day. But at NYDog Spa they have shown her kindness and encouragement. When she is dropped off she is greeted with happy hugs and when she leaves she runs back and forth between me and the staff (her fave is Jasmine, but they are all great) as if deciding should I stay or should I go! The staff at NYDog Spa clearly love dogs. It's not just a holding pen, it's a place with engagement, play, games, and special treats. They are the BEST!

In addition, because my dog has IVDD, I asked them, and they agreed, to keep him from jumping down from anything higher than the floor (i.e., a chair or cot or table), and that request fell on deaf ears as I watched the minder (on the live feed) place him on a desk for some reason, which my dog immediately jumped down from. Most importantly, my dog returned home with conjunctivitis and a bacterial skin infection, and since then I have incurred a $685 veterinarian bill. I do not recommend Manhattan Pawoffice.

We use them to walk our dog during the day and also to take him on hikes in upstate New York once a week, as well as boarding him when we go on vacation. The owner has a team of walkers and hikers who truly love the dogs -- our dog gets super-excited whenever his walkers arrive and they are very nice to him. They are also timely and responsive, and keep us informed about all the important details of our dogs walk (poops/pees, etc). The walks are in small groups and we can tell from our dog's airtag that the walkers take him for long walks and extended play in the dog parks. The Weekly hikes are even better! NYC Doggies picks our three year old Portuguese Water dog up in the morning, drive him upstate, and turn him loose for a several hour long hike with a professional walker, along with 3-4 other dogs. He runs, swims in lakes, and generally gets to behave like a "normal" dog in the wild. He comes back exhausted and falls asleep for three hours straight. It is his favorite day of the week, and it has made him calmer and better behaved, and more fit. NYC Doggies has made my dog's life much happier and I could not recommend them more highly.

I prefer the smaller group walks (1-2 other dogs) versus the large groups I sometimes see around the city with other companies. It allows for exercise and socialization without being overwhelming and stressful. She also goes hiking a good bit and given the videos and photos, has more fun than I could imagine. She's always exhausted but happy when she gets back and I know it's good for her to get out into nature more often than I can get out of the city. She spent a few weeks with Ovidiu and his family for board and train and learned so much that it's been a game changer. She's headstrong but super smart so most of the learning has been on my side. I couldn't have such a good little city dog without the help of this team.

Always prompt, always left a sweet elaborate note about how the walk went/how many pees and poops, and she has been very accommodating about schedule changes. My dog walker loves my dog so much and I have never had a problem with services. Stephanie also was willing to come all the way to my place even though I was outside the normal zone of servicing. She really saved my life this past year. She was also willing to do only 15 min walks for a reduced fee because I am a broke graduate student!! I highly recommend walk on the pawside!!
