The layout of the store is pretty simple and it is easy to find what you want most of the time. This home bargains stocks stuff that could probably be found in other countries and so if you see something you like buy it because it may not be there next time you go. Home bargains does get busy due to it being a popular shop. The checkout staff can be quite slow especially when an assistant is needed at the checkout, they seem to take an age!

Items aren't always grouped in the same place, so therefore making it difficult to find specific items. There are many occasions when there are long queues and the checkout operators are chatting to friends or collegues, with no regard to the people waiting. It's a great shop if you want to wander around and don't have anything particular in mind, other than picking up items cheaper than other shops. Also, a lot of items are only available once, so its disappointing to go back and find its no longer there.

A great advantage of this is in summer as it keeps the car cooler! This Tesco has just about all an extra store can offer - pharmacy, photo processing, cafe, tesco direct, car wash, cafe, recycling and a petrol station opposite. In store they have a fish and meat counter. There is also a clarge clothing section. The cafe here is very good, light, airy and the food is usually very good. It does make you want to take a drinks break! Once in store there is the usual Tesco wide range, well laid out and with helpful staff. It can get quite busy (if you want a more relaxing Tesco shop head up the road to Swiney Way, Toton). If you live in the area there is a free bus service - phone 01332 204568 for details. During the week it is 24 hours so it is very convenient, especially if you are a shift worker.

It is a useful local branch selling all the usual medicinal remedies, perfume, seasonal gifts, glucose monitors and baby products. It also has a very busy pharmacy that serves a lot of the local community. The staff are helpful and informative, but pre-ordering a prescription seems at some points to be a lottery, as to whether it will be ready or not, which kind of defeats the purpose.

The clothing is well sectioned and it's easy to find the clothing you want because everthing is grouped together such as accessories, formal wear, jeans and casual. The staff are all great, friendly, helpful and well dressed and i usually see one of them at a lot of gigs i go to and so he must have the same musical taste as me! Music in this store is fun. The products in this shop can be expensive and you could probably find the same thing for a lot cheaper in the nearby primark. Clothing in here is never unique and so someone will always have the same thing as you.
