They have a wide selection and they update their social media frequently with new items. If they don't have something, they can either get it or tell you where you can find it. The one time we had a problem with an item, they immediately made it right with a smile and without any hesitation. We try to visit at least twice a month. It's about a 30 minute ride each way for us, but absolutely worth the trip. On the rare trip that we don't buy anything, we still have a fun time. The bottom floor has the regular Barnes and Noble, the Starbucks, and the RIT clothes and souvenirs while the top floor has text books and supplies (photo and computer supplies are still in the SAU by where Campus Connections used to be). Yes the prices are a tad higher on some of the art supplies and texts books but these are things that are overpriced almost anywhere (except for online) and convenience is key not to mention they now have a parking lot (which Campus Connections never had). Besides when you're paying almost 40k a year for school, who cares if they're charging you $80 for a $60 text book or $10 for a $6 paint brush? This whole new area of the campus is gorgeous and I wish it was around when I was going there. I'd recommend sucking up negatives, it's a great store and if you still feel emo about the prices then go get a few drinks at the new bar in the same parking lot.

This store has the honor of being located in the far back roads of Brockport behind the large Wal-Mart supercenter and next to the Goodwill building. You will have to take one of the back roads to actually find this branch but when you do discover it, it's more then worth taking the visit to look inside. It's quite larger then some of the other GameStop's in the area even though it is located in a strip building. The interior is laid out a bit different with the PlayStation area being located in the back of the store with the Xbox are being in the front of the store. There is a larger selection of PlayStation titles to choose from with a rather extensive PlayStation 3 library of used games but do be careful if you buy used. When buying used, if you're a big fan of having the best case complete with instructions, you need to search for recently traded in games as there stickers will be the most easiest to remove but do be careful here. As I may have mentioned before, when you take a game up, if they have another case in the drawer they will use that one even though that case may be in worse condition. missing directions, or be a generic case. Always check the discs before you make the final purchase because they may put a "greatest hits" disc with a black label case or the disc may scratched to a point where it is unplayable. While this is rare for a Blu-ray disc, It can happen if the disc is not well taken care of, use with caution but never buy the extended warranty, it isn't worth it. I'll also mention their well stocked 3DS collection which has some games that I am unable to find in other locations. They do come with their cases but they still will have stickers to remove so bring some goo gone with you to finish the job. Putting aside the games, the staff here are kind enough not to push you into getting a warranty or trying to get you to pre-order a game even though that's what they should be doing. It can get annoying when they try to do it but I'm very satisfied that they don't because it turns away customers and causes more of an annoyance then it being anything but beneficial. If you're a GameStop fan, then you will be more then satisfied with this large location. It's a great addition to the Rochester suburbs and is well worth visiting if you live around the Brockport area, just make sure you don't accidentally pass it on your way there.

What's always bothered me about this location is the lack of 'leg room'. There's very little free space to shop around. He was so attentive, thorough and super nice! With that call I changed the cover to a white leatherette and the inside cover material is now a black Japanese Silk with a hint of gold. I've done some pretty demanding projects with Eric and I've reaped the benefits of the incredible work that comes out of it. Eric is a master printer and his knowledge and skill is reason enough to choose Booksmart. As someone who's been working in the Arts for many years I can confidently say that Booksmart has time and again blown me away with their photographic printing and preparation. I'm happy to say they've produced the most spectacular prints I've ever made. Recently, we completed a large project of 55x70" prints that are nothing short of stunning. I mean even tracking down printing that size is difficult let alone the master artisan they have handling the output. This place is a true Oasis of brilliance. Happy to say I'll be printing with them for many years to come, no matter what location I find myself. They are that good. I cannot praise them enough.

I never really noticed this place before, probably because I wasn't painting at the time. I recently took up, watercolor, and brought all my stuff up here, but needed a few extra supplies. During my first visit, I noticed they had a workshop on that upcoming Saturday, and I eagerly signed up for it. It was an all-day workshop with Paul Taylor, and he was an INCREDIBLE instructor. Even though I had taken classes for three months before we left Texas, I learned so much from him in that one day. The class focused on doing one painting from beginning to end, and you would think an seven hour day would be too much for one painting, but it was absolutely perfect. It allowed us to take our time and allowed time for him to explain every move and assist us as we painted. Now about the shop... What a jewel! It is very well stocked, and had almost everything I needed, except for a couple of paint colors. But to top it off, the owner was working the day I visited, and she was so incredibly helpful. She walked around and helped me find everything I needed, and we had a wonderful visit while I was there. I returned again on another day when a young woman was working, and she was equally as helpful and enjoyable. When we come up here next year, I think I'm going to base our visits around the classes they offer. I would love to take the watercolor class that they offer that goes on for several weeks. If you consider yourself even remotely, creative and artistic, skip Hobby Lobby, and Michaels and support this wonderful local establishment.
