I love that the layout of this store is very easy to navigate and each section is clearly marked with large signs overhead. It is also lit perfectly and I have never seen this location in disarray! There is a huge amount of things to look at here and I easily spend way too much time doing exactly that. I love looking at the different coffee products they have here because they tend to have unique flavors for syrups or coffee pods for my husbands coffee machine. Prices are very reasonable and my last trip involved me buying a new luggage. The luggage was discounted to under $100 and the quality and brand were both amazing! The staff here is very friendly and make sure that the shelves are always stocked as well as the floor always clean from small products that may have fallen off and onto the floor!

The store is packed with goodies - books, crystals, candles, incense, cards, jewelry, etc. They are on the pricey side. Honestly, I was a bit put off by how pricey the products are. I was looking for black tourmaline, I found some, raw cut and smooth. But again, they are overpriced (IMO). I bought two stones that are smaller than a quarter for $1 apiece. I would have bought more but needed a few other things. I bought several candles for specific uses. I love the way they provide labels for each candle so you'll remember by the time you're ready to use them. I also bought some cleansing tools - sage, palo santo, mugwort, and clear quartz crystals. Overall, it's a beautiful store. You'll find they offer plenty of resources. The love and light I felt when I walked in was comforting.

They have great gifts for everyone and for every occasion. They have a great clearance all the time throughout the store. Hard to walk through with out seeing a dozen or more "red" tags. If you need a new pet toy or a gourmet bag of chips, you will find it here. If something is oversized, they will take it to the register for you and even help you get it into your car. Customer service is great when they are not busy . On the weekends, it can look like a flea market with everyone trying to get a great deal. They even have their own credit card which will earn cash back on every purchase. This is a great place to shop at all the time.

As far as a comic store goes, this place pretty much checks off all the boxes you want. They carry…read morecomic books, graphic novels, action figures, artwork, collectibles & the list goes on. They have a huge amount of space inside their store & they utilize every inch. I like how their sections are relatively organized by category, although it can get a bit overwhelming with just how much they have. Everywhere you look there's display cases loaded with figures & bookshelves filled out. They have the best selection of comic books in south Florida, by far. When it comes to quantity & variety they have a great offering. Horror, superheroes, sci-fi, anime; they have some of everything. They keep a nice stock in their weekly release section & carry a lot of sought-after series. While they don't carry every cover variant, they do a good job at having at least a couple for most issues. The workers are usually pretty friendly. They offer help looking for items in their massive store & will point you in the right direction if you have any questions. I've never once had a bad experience in all the years I've been visiting. As good as they are, I have 2 complaints. First off, they're sometimes a bit overpriced. Whether it be an action figure or certain comic, there's been times where I've found them pricing things $2-$15 over market value. While get it's a business, I hate finding something here only to realize I can get it online cheaper. I'm ALWAYS for supporting local businesses but unfortunately it dissuades that. Lastly, sometimes I'll look for a series to start & they'll only have issues #2 & on. While it's not that big of a problem, I always grab issue #1 before any others so this'll cause me to skip out. Usually, however, this doesn't happen often. Overall, Tate's is the place for all your comic & collectible needs. There's not much more to ask for considering their good service, up-to-date selections & large variety. Also, be sure to check out their art gallery upstairs. They carry tons of stickers, prints, originals & crafts from local artists!
