Dr Barrs practice is an Absolute joke I left worse than when I walked In. I shouldn't have paid the $150 for nothing "literally left in tears"his review of my treatment was a complete lie and I feel ripped off. I only went to him because my current chiropractor is now retired. I wish I would've gone somewhere else. I want a refund that they will not give me. do not go here!!! My family have been existing patients since 2015. In 2022 we were told by Dr. Barr's staff they are no longer a part of the Anthem Blue Shield network and we were given a choice to find another provider or pay full price. I looked up Dr. Barr only to discover that he is showing as a participating provider within the network. I am incredibly disappointed in this lack of integrity. read more

Back in January of last year, I messed up my back so badly that I couldnt talk, take care of myself or my son. I tried everything at home. Cold compass, heating pads, ibuprofen. I would like to review both Chiropractors here at Barr Family Chiropractic, as I am a patient of Dr. Barr, and my children are both patients of Dr. Rectors. I have always had trouble with my pelvis and spine alignment after enduring a farm accident as a teen, and my pain has become worse over the years and after bearing children. With that being said, I've gone to many chiropractors and Dr. Barr is my favorite. I have been coming to his clinic on an as needed basis for adjustments for a couple years and he always manages to set me right. I have a small frame and have felt other chiropractors have been afraid to give me the more intense manual adjustments that I feel I need. Today I came in as a walk in, in a lot of pain, and he really took the time to look into it for me and discuss not only the physical side of what I am experiencing but also nutritionally/emotionally/mentally- which I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to try to help from different angles. I have brought my son a couple of times to see Dr. Rector who has a more gentle approach to her adjustments. I discussed with her behavioral/anger problems I have been noticing and did some reading on how spinal misalignment can greatly contribute. Both times she has adjusted him he has felt so much better immediately. I really think it makes a difference, and would like to come and see her on a more regular basis. She also has seen my daughter for back pain and made her feel so much better in one visit, too. She is very kind and good with kids. Any questions I have asked her she has thorough advice and insight for me. After your adjustment you can also choose to use the electromagnetic pulse therapy to relieve your muscles and reduce inflammation. The kids and I have both used it after adjustments and it certainly makes a difference in how you feel walking out of there. Do not go here. I had pain in my neck for about a week when I decided I wanted to see a chiropractor. After calling another place that wouldn't be able to schedule me for over a month, I called Barr Family Chiropractic and was excited that they could see me later that day. But, I left in even more pain than before and could barely turn my head (driving home was scary). Dr. Barr spent no more than five minutes with me in total. He asked me where I felt pain, had me move my arms and legs against his pressure, and then twisted my head and neck. I let out a cry of ouch, which he didn't hear or didn't care to hear. I told him it didn't feel any better, and then he twisted my head and neck the other direction. Again, I let out of cry of ouch and, again, he didn't notice. That was the end of my interactions with him. He wasn't rude necessarily; he just didn't seem to care. Almost immediately, my body felt worse. I could barely turn my head and felt incredibly stiff. Also, even though there were signs saying that everyone in the office, staff and patients, were required to wear masks, I was the only one doing so. Dr. Barr and none of the staff people were wearing masks. I've had very good experiences with chiropractors before, but this was awful. I am never going here again and wouldn't recommend Dr. Barr to anyone. Save your body; go to another chiropractor. read more

I was in a lot of pain. I drove all the way from outside of Willits to go see Dr. Barr who allowed me the same day appointment. I'm so glad that I didn't get a chance to finish all the paperwork before he saw me as he's in some kind of probationary period maybe for drinking alcohol I haven't looked into it. I am so happy. I didn't see any of that before my treatment and only 2 1/2 hours later I feel like a different person his treatment work it incredibly well at lightning speed and we probably all have made mistakes in our lives, that we regret. So I came here after a car accident. Someone ran a red light and hit me and my 17 month old son. I was treated the day I came in for my appt, and then when they scheduled my next visit I was told they would figure out the insurance portion. The insurance company had paid me out directly due to my injuries and they were aware of that. So I had that money to treat myself as needed. On my second visit I was barely adjusted and the main man chiropractor here did some weird things to me that I felt weren't going to help my back. Something to do with tapping on my forehead and telling me to think of the accident. Also on my first visit, they had me do this electromagnetic treatment for my muscles and this laser brain treatment. Upon checking out on my 2nd visit, they told me I had 600$ + dollars owed for my treatment I had received. I work in a dental office and when I am presenting treatment plan to patients, we always go over the cost of the treatment needed and get approval from the patient. PERIOD. I feel like this was completely unprofessional and not transparent business. I did call them with my complaint and I told them I wanted to dispute the charges due to not knowing how much my treatment was going to be on the first initial visit. They did in fact reimburse me about 250$ of the 600$ + dollars. Which I feel should have been the full amount reimbursed. As a business that treats people medically I informed them that this was a opportunity to grow and learn. I learn and grow in my place of work everyday. I was very nice about my complaint but I felt that this was sufficient reason to put a review for this business. I don't usually write bad reviews good only, unless the place of business isn't transparent about their business actions. Just wanted to share my experience. read more

Dr Barr is a caring, skillful and experienced Chiropractor. I always go to see him whenever I need help. Recently I have severe neck and shoulder pain. After several adjustments and didn't help much. Dr Barr highly recommended me to get the massage from Carolina Delgado. Amazingly, the pain reduced each time after the treatment. Carolina knew exact the root cause of the pain and gently worked on the exact pain spot. Later, I found out that Carolina attended two years of massage school and has a muscular therapist license in Florida. She specializes in erasing the muscle memory. My neck and shoulder pain was gone after 6 treatments. Now I'm still continuing to see her for other pain area. I also recommend her to my son and daughter-in-law. They're all very happy with the treatment. Carolina fixed my daughter-in-law's leg pain. She is the best massager that I've ever met in my life. I'd recommend her to anyone who has pain.
