I then spoke with the manager, Brian, who stated that he could not require the cook to prepare the sandwich. Rather than attempting to resolve the situation, Brian argued with me, belittled me in front of other patrons, and repeatedly emphasized that he had been doing his job for over 30 years. I found his conduct to be unprofessional, disrespectful, and unnecessary. The delay in submitting my order was entirely beyond my control, as I placed my order before the lunch service ended. Instead of focusing on finding a reasonable solution, Brian chose to degrade me publicly. I also felt that I was treated differently because I am a Black man. While I cannot know his intent, the manner in which I was addressed and treated left me feeling discriminated against and deeply disrespected. I am extremely disappointed by this experience. I expected courteous customer service and a reasonable effort to address a situation that was not of my making. Instead, I left feeling humiliated and undervalued as a customer.

I had to creat a Yelp account only so I can provide with a review on this place: Terrible! I understand they are new on this location, but as I was told by one of the staff member they have other branches in CA, I hope they are not as bad as this one... The taste of the food is good, unfortunately it doesn't make it up for the slow service, the careless attention, and this: My nephew is vegetarian, he doesn't eat fish, we ask for a dish just as it is just without the fish and they said NO! They said "sorry, not today" when then? When we ask for the reason on why not, the waitress said: "the chef said he doesn't want to" I can't believe they'd denied a request on a dish, we weren't asking for a cheaper price, we just asked for no fish in it! Anyway, definitely not coming back here, either you eat what they want you to eat, when they want you to eat it, and how they want... terrible read more

We had such a great experience at Barra Azul! The food was excellent from start to finish. We started with the pork belly carnitas sliders--there were four good-sized sliders, perfectly seasoned and so satisfying. We also ordered the enchiladas with half red and half green sauce, which were both flavorful and well balanced. Before ordering, we had a question about the sauces we'd seen mentioned on Yelp, and the chef himself came out to explain them to us. He even offered to let us try a sample before deciding, which was such a thoughtful touch. That level of service really stood out and made us feel taken care of. Between the attentive staff, the chef's personal touch, and the delicious food, Barra Azul is definitely a spot we'll be coming back to. Highly recommend! read more

This place was remodeled recently. Writing on the menu was way too small. Me and my family dined in and order carne asada tacos, potato tacos, octopus tostada. The tostada was more like a ceviche, but it was great, very delicious. Tacos were all very tasty. Kids bean burrito was way to big for a kid but it was tasty. Chimoy and watermelon margaritas were tasty but a bit small. Chili oil needs to be a lot more spicy. But Overall it was an excellent experience, service was good. I would definitely come here again. When I heard about a Mexican infused sushi restaurant opening up down the street I had to give it a try and went to their soft opening. We had the Mar and Tierra roll and Crunch roll to start. I was pleasantly surprised with both which made me want to try some other menu items. The taco Gorbenador and Ceviche Especial were pact with flovor. I recommend you give it a try. Update, After not returning to the restaurant due to multiple bad customer service. It has still not changed.Just today going in I waited for more than 40 minutes while people who arrived after I did got their appetizer and food( some people even ordered the same roll as I did). We had dinner a great night at Barra Azul. We had the shrimp empanadas and the potato tacos, which were both delicious, with the right amount of spice. I enjoyed the music they were playing Friday night, it really helped set the ambiance. Heard about this place on IG. We gave it a try tonight. It was amazing..! We had the tostada tropical, aguachiles verdes, tacos gobernador, and ostiones. For dessert we had the cheesecakes.
