According to him, the explosion had nothing to do with the repairs performed just one day earlier. What makes this even more heartbreaking is where and how it happened. The vehicle erupted into flames in front of our home, inside our gated community, surrounded by neighbors. My 18-year-old sister had just parked the car, and she and my 10-year-old sister were only steps away from it--barely two minutes after turning the engine off. We are beyond grateful that they survived, because this could have easily become a tragedy that claimed two young lives. Instead of showing concern or accepting any responsibility, the manager refused to even reimburse my sister for the $220 she paid in labor. She wasn't demanding the value of the vehicle or the cost of the parts. She simply asked for the labor she had already paid for after losing the very first car she had worked so hard to buy. No amount of money can replace a human life. Businesses make mistakes, but how they respond when something catastrophic happens says everything about their character. In our experience, there was no accountability, no compassion, and no willingness to help after an incident that could have ended in unimaginable loss. There are other specialty Car shops here so if he can fix it someone there can give it a look, convenient. This place in itself had a waiting area, clean , well kept with tv. His wife helps in the shop and did the check out for me. They took my car right away and I was out less than 1 hr later for a brake job. They have decent prices and run promotions from time to time.
