Once we could swim then houseboats were ok. I have always loved the drive to the lake the warm air with the windows down. The smell of water and fresh rain. The hills and valleys with the boat following behind. I always knew that we were in for an amazing days at the lake. The staff was always so welcoming and helpful we have had some injuries over the years that being 20! That they were able to help with getting to a ER and also watching that boat. There are so many different amenities that it's just the place to be. Sadly we moved to CA way to far to travel with a boat, but we always remember our time at the lake so much that college has sent me back to the east coast. I think that there will be a Dale Hollow trio here sooner then I though!

Completely utterly speechless with this experience! Its been a lifelong dream of mine to see the…read morelongest cave in the world (425 miles long) and today I got to experience it and it was unbelievable! I've been to many many national parks and this one is probably now my favorite! I signed up awhile back for their wild cave tour which is their most strenuous, difficult tour. This tour when I showed up this morning was sold out so I am glad I booked it in advance. This tour also only runs 3 days/week. Our NPS rangers Alex and Lizette were awesome! They were great trip leaders and I would come back anytime just to do the wild cave tour with them again. I was skeptical this would be a strenuous tour as NPS tends to grade their events harder than they really are but this was a pretty accurate depiction of this tour. If you aren't physically fit, or able to fit into tight spaces, this tour isnt going to work for you. Its also basically 5 hours of hardcore horizontal caving, so keep that in mind. I kind of lucked out with my group as most were younger and fairly fit. I might have been the oldest person on this tour. We did a lot of crawling, climbing, scrambling and fancy footwork. I probably sweated out a couple of liters for sure. Everything I was wearing was soaked in sweat. Everyone in our group kept up and the rangers even told us after that our group was really awesome and invited us to come back anytime to this wild cave tour with them! Cool! The visitor center is pretty big and they offer so many cave tours, which is quite overwhelming. They have tons of gift shops so take your choice in where you want to shop. What's also great is that the Park Store is here too! This was a phenomenal experience and its just an above and beyond experience. Definitely come check it out!

There is over 640 steps and areas to squeeze through/dunk/sideways around. We had several wow moments. The pictures don't do it justice. I would definitely return and do the longer tour.

Cave Country Canoe was SO great to work with when my boyfriend and I decided to spend a few days in…read moreMammoth Cave National Park. We rented one canoe (which came with oars and lifejackets), were led to the endpoint (we chose Houchins Ferry) to park our car, and were then driven with the canoe to our starting point (Dennison Ferry). We canoed around 12 miles of the Green River the first day, camped on Boardcut Island, and then finished the 20-mile trip the following morning. All we had to do at Houchins was leave the canoe, oars, and lifejackets out and make a phone call to Cave Country...so convenient! Best thing about working with Cave Country was their friendly service. They even went so far as to give us a s'mores fixings care package (complete with firestarters, graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate)! We also had some great conversation with their employees, both exchanging stories and getting some great advice for canoeing on the river. I would highly recommend going with Cave Country Canoe if you're thinking of making a trip to Mammoth Cave or the Green River.

We were shuttled to the drop site and picked up quickly when we were done. The prices were competitive and the service was top notch. We didn't get s'mores like the other reviewer, but we also didn't book a 2 day trip. Just FYI, the National Park Service prohibits consumption or possession of alcohol on the Green River. Fines can be in excess of $500 per adult in the boat. Also, they require that you wear life jackets, not just have them in the boat. Fines are also assessed per person not wearing one. Rangers will tour the river and ticket you for not following the rules. Safety first, Yelpers!

Serial # is required for registration. the LV34 Module was mounted under my trolling motors recessed foot controller box, which now has a crossover bar with a 126SV monitor mounted on it. I have to take everything apart that was installed to take a photo of this serial #. I would think they would want this information for the install so they can keep up with what they installed. The quoted price was much lower than the final installed price. Get everything in writing and ask for serial numbers prior to them installing.
