I am sharing my experience here with the sole intention to prevent any other person falling victim to this firm. I retained this firm but I should have done my research before retaining them. Throughout my case, the attorney working on the case was changed multiple times. I have not spoken with the same attorney twice. It was a new person everytime. At some point, and due to many red flags , I decide do switch firm but they started demanding that I cannot take the case from them or I should pay them a large sum of money for their time. After this firm was highlight recommended to me by a friend who used their services, I had a wrongful termination case I requested them to handle. I initially was sent an email after I reported it over the phone saying that someone had tried to contact me but was unable to do so. I then received another email from an assistant there saying the same thing. I called back and got her on the line and she informed me that they only l just send initial contact via email and essentially lied about ever calling me. I look past that and provide additional details, she says an attorney will reach out to me7 days later and schedule an appointment for that. We are now going on 2 weeks before I am even speaking to attorney for a consultation on my case. I call today to try to get an earlier time to speak to the attorney which was set for tomorrow and the assistant changes the time. Not even one hour goes by and I receive an email stating the firms COO has determined they are over capacity and they will not have the capacity to take my case. I tell them that I would prefer that they handle since i've waited this long and I had been referred to them. They essentially say sorry not sorry cant do it. But I catch them in a lie because I had forgot about the first person that emailed me from their firm to set up a consultation, the very same woman I had just spoke to today called me to follow up on that email and to try and schedule me for a consultation???? Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous I wouldn't have even thought to write a review if it wasnt for that call. read more

I phoned to speak with a lawyer for assistance. My phone call was directed to what seemed like an overseas-foreign person. He took my information and Detra called back; she seemed scatter brained. Set up phone consult with lawyer in Atlanta office. Left two messages for lawyer to call me back before the consult, never received a call back. The number called was an Alabama number? Also, called Detra again, phone line was either busy or just wrang. When I finally spoke with the lawyer Kate C., she seemed legit. Spoke with her on a Thursday, she was to follow up on Monday...its been over 2 weeks, no contact. I question the legitimacy of this firm. AVOID!!! read more

I feel that this office is only concerned with cases that they are sure that they can make good money from (kind of like ambulance chasers). I have sent them three emails containing my workplace issues and not one response. Even after I asked them to at least provide me a response, nothing... For those looking for an attorney, I would suggest that you pass these people up and look elsewhere. read more

I don't recommend this lawfirm at ALL!!! Did the initial intake interview on 10/18/23. I was told by the lawyer I talked with Jewel C. that she would get back to me by Friday 10/20/23 at the very latest with a decision, she had to run my case by the board for a final decision. The 20th came and went, on Monday 10/23/23 I reached out to here and her assistant with ZERO response back. Tuesday I again reached out to both parties with ZERO response. I finally received a response the next day Wednesday 10/25/23 a full week later. Stating the firm would be taking on my case, that was approved by the board. I was told the next step would be a letter of representation on there behalf. I received a call on 11/8/23 Jewel had some questions she started it was easier to call than to have to re-listen to the recorded conversation. She was working on writing up charges for the Letter of Representation. We're now 2 weeks from the day she said they would be writing up a letter of representation and sending it of. I was a little confused as to what "charges" were being added, I was unders the expression it was SEXUAL HARASSMENT..... I received a call one week to the day 11/17/23 @1319 from Jewel C. From my lawyer letting me know she was dropping my case. She was having a hardtime coming up with charges. She told me that SOME SEXUAL HARASSMENT IS TO BE EXCEPT IN THE WORK PLACE. I was floored!!! I'm sorry what? The company I worked for had a ZERO tolerance policy for sexual harassment. My MG nor any of the manager's or supervisor I reported it to did nothing, they didn't follow the company guidelines or help. This lawfirm doesn't care about what has happened to you! I can only assume my case wasn't going to make her the kind of money she wanted or was handed a case she wanted more and dropped mine. Clearly she didn't put any kind of work into it. Extremely unprofessional. Left several messages with no call backs when trying to set up a consultation. Got online on the website and scheduled a consultation. First one that was scheduled-no one ever even called. The next one scheduled got changed 3 times. Finally spoke with someone that was clueless as to what was going on in the office, and she took notes and said someone would call-and of course no one did. Called one more time and spoke to someone and explained the major frustration and that i wanted to pay for a visit with an attorney, and she said she would make sure someone would call back and no one did. We clearly took our case elsewhere. I think I kept trying because they look good online, but they should be ashamed and quite embarrassed. Cant even imagine the stress they would cause on top of an already stressful situation!!!! Funny because there's only one other review on here for Barrett and Farahany, and it was from 2 years ago and the review states the same behavior!!! Um-ya, no thx! read more
