There is a historical carousel that I am in love with here. It's a beautiful touch if you're having an event. This center features a plethora of options to throw an event for a rental cost. They offer a reception hall, studio, carousel house, 2 multi purpose rooms, the gymnasium, and fields. The center offers a beautiful view of the city skyline at night. The park on the property is gorgeous and has a wonderful playground as well as walking trails.

There was plenty of parking, I am not sure how it would be earlier during the day but it was great parking around the time that we went. As we were walking up there was a staff member there letting down the flag and she asked us how she could help us she was really nice. We noticed that they had an outdoor basketball court so we used them restroom and went straight there. The bathrooms were clean too. Which was great for small children who love to touch things. The park was really nice but we were only there for basketball court which was cool. One of the goals had a glass missing which was okay but for someone who likes to make all of their shots it was an inconvenience. But the park overall was clean and really nice. Overall it's one of the nice parks in Raleigh and we would love to go back.

It was beat up, dirty, and all around just looked like it was under construction. The floors were partially pulled up & there was lots of debris, chipped tile, and trash around. That was the floor with the gym the kids were playing in. I heard that the upstairs looked nothing like that floor, but I didn't get the opportunity to go see it. So, this review is based on my experience. The staff was friendly & the tournament was somewhat organized. Thanks goodness tomorrow the tournament will be elsewhere. I couldn't bare to be back in that haunted-looking place.

The Metropolitan Community Churches denomination is known as one that originated for the LGBT community, but being a different-gender-loving (straight) woman who is a steadfast LGBT ally, I feel right at home in this church. There are special things happening at St. Johns -- lives are being transformed here all of the time. There is an 845am service that is more traditional in style, and the 11am service is contemporary worship. Ethnically, St, Johns is a beautiful mix of races and backgrounds. I was raised Roman Catholic, and I have gotten to know and understand more about the backgrounds of my fellow members who come from Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Jehovah Witness, and other religious backgrounds. The sincerity with which the deacons, pastors, and friends at St. Johns pray for and with me/us is something that has completely transformed my outlook on christian spirituality. The place reeks of LOVE, and there is always someone willing to pray with you and guide you in a positive direction. Bible study group on Tuesday is always informational and inspirational. I can't say enough about how great this church is.

I have met here a few times as part of the City of Morrisville community event I participate in as…read morea volunteer annually. The center is clean. The staff is friendly and professional. This will be my second year volunteering alongside some of the City of Morrisville committee members and leaders. I've enjoyed being able to show up and volunteer which allows me to learn from others, and give back to the community and the most rewarding is seeing the evolution of the community event I consistently volunteer to assist. Overall, Cedar Fork Community Center seems to be a great community center. The building is nicely maintained, clean, and comfortable. There are various after and before-school programs for children, and camps.

The Community Center is very well kept and modern. It also features a Teen Zone for teens 13-17. They have activity rooms, a video game room, gym and indoor basketball court. We attended the Teen Hang Out event Friday night and the staff was excellent. Everyone was very welcoming and engaged very well with the teens. My daughter enjoys basketball so she spent a lot of time in the gym doing a small tournament and in the video game room. I appreciate how Raleigh Parks Dept invests in their parks and rec centers. I just wish they had Teen Zones in NorthWest Raleigh. We have to drive 25 minutes in traffic to visit teen zones like Saint Monica, Green Road and Tarboro. It would be fair if Brier Creek or Millbrook had a Teen Zone. Teenagers need a safe space where they can gather and feel supported and appreciated.

Both teams had uniforms, there were a lot of fans, some folks had cookout stuff and folding chairs. It looked quite exciting! Other than that ball game going on, the park has a large picnic shelter located next to the volleyball and tennis courts. There is a concrete-surface basketball court, four lighted tennis courts and two lighted sand volleyball courts. There are two baseball fields (the larger one is 350 feet to the fence!) and a woodchip-surface playground for ages 5 to 12.
