This is such a beautiful facility!! The detailing in decoration in each room is magnificent. The restoration of the property is phenomenal. Loved it for the event I went to tonight.

I attended the Caipirinhas & Candles event hosted by Nina Love, of "The Love Experience" and enjoyed my time here! After our event, I had a tour of the premises and was delighted with how the building/house is being utilize! It's beautiful, well decorate, and seems like a great place for women to gather in a working space. The patio is also well planned & spacious enough for an outdoor dining experience. I'll definitely return!

Three levels with plenty of spacious rooms, and modern meeting areas. It's a unique concept! A cafe is also located inside that offers tea, coffee, food, etc. that leads you to a cozy backyard with lighting. Had the pleasure of visiting here for an event. Nice!

A team of 12 of us were able to use one of their conference rooms for a day of presentations and coworking. A wework rep started us off with a quick spiel about the company and location, so we were up to speed on the flavored water, coffee, and other amenities of the space. I appreciated the layout of the floor we were on, with a bathroom close by and an open-planned kitchen area. The rooms all have glass walls, which helps keep it from feeling claustrophobic, along with the stylish decor. Overall, an easy space for groups and I'd be happy to work there again if in the city.

They have a number of usable conference rooms you can rent by the day or hour, or you can join as a member to use their public co-working spaces, OR you can get a small office/dedicated desk for more regular office work. They've got a comfortable common area with a kitchen, fresh tasty coffee, fridges and serving ware if you need a mug or a glass. Plus solid wifi, AV equipment if you're renting a conference room, and more. There are two WeWork offices within a few blocks of each other on Woodward but this one is closer to Campus Martius which makes it a really prime location. Plenty of options within walking distance for food and bev and there's a great view of the park, the riverfront, and Windsor out certain windows of the space. All in all a very pleasant place to work!

So happy to see the community come together in this space. Events here are usually in the evenings or on weekends. Everything from crafting classes to book clubs to divorce support groups. I love the badass ladies dinners and tea events. It's about making those bucket-list things happen. Never tried boxing, ridden a Segway or been to _____? This club will make it happen, and you can do it with your girlfriends in tow. For the work-from-home crowd they offer drop-in coworking every other Friday. Bring your laptop and use the WiFi. Classes can cost from $20-40+ and after taking several, I can say they are definitely worth it. The SheHive is new, and changing rapidly based on demand for classes. Can't wait to see what is coming next.

Found a parking spot on the back side of the building (behind Subway) and had to walk around. For after hours workshops you have to ring a bell to be let in. The workshop leader was informative and friendly. Just enough information for a novice to begin their journey into podcasting. Would like to take a more technical workshop next that focuses on tools and actual technical aspects of podcasting. Hope they add something like that in the future. The course list they offer looks interesting and I can see myself coming back for more.

It is affiliated with & partially run by Wayne State University. I like the vibe here. It's casual & community oriented. And the diversity of backgrounds & genders represented in it's membership, well, that makes this space stand out from the rest. The building itself is huge and divided into several floors. On the first floor you'll find casual co-working, some dedicated desks and tons of meeting rooms on the 1st floor. There's a large open kitchen and a pantry with fresh food for sale. Ping pong table & popcorn machine are a nice bonus. On 2nd through 5th floors you'll find the various sized private offices of nonprofit orgs, small businesses and larger orgs like the Ford Foundation and Henry Ford Medical. This is the place to run into people who are in business in Detroit, particularly folks at the intersection between academics and business. I am a co-working member, so I see this space primarily as a place to get good Wifi, use the printer and host client meetings, etc. It serves me well and it is a really great price for hot desk co-working. Two complaints: 1. There is an effort to help break the ice & introduce members to each other more often. This is an ongoing struggle, as it can feel very anonymous to work remotely at a co-working space. Right now there's a weekly popcorn & beer mingler on Friday afternoons and a bagel breakfast on Mondays. There's room for improvement in terms of creating real helpful connections between people though. 2. It can get crowded in the middle of the week and on days when a large group books the conference rooms. You'd be surprised how often a group of 40+ people hosts an event here. There's rarely a quiet day on the 1st floor. Overall this is a great space, good community and a nice taste of the Detroit business & nonprofit scene.

Everything you paid for this program goes completely to waste. They keep all your money. Their creditors for the bootcamp are also THE WORST I've ever dealt with. I've made on time payments, never late once, and they have reported late and missing payments on my credit score not once, but twice! Their mistake is costing me the ability to buy a house! I have a family to take care of! I have been going back and forth with trans union trying to fix this, but I SHOULDN'T have to go through this just for trying to better myself professionally. All the resources that YOU paid for shouldn't be taken away just because you did bad on a test. Yes that's right, all resources provided are taken away if you fail. Even though they keep all your money. After I was done with the bootcamp, I did not give up, and let me also say you can learn SO MUCH MORE by going on YouTube and doing code alongs. Now that's it's been a year, and I've still been coding, I can totally tell you that they PURPOSELY over-complicate the learning process in this bootcamp to make their teaching more sellable. If you still desire to be taught by a teacher, please just do a little searching there are much better bootcamps out there that WONT charge you UNTIL you get a job. Not like this one. And don't even get me started on the staff that was there when I was. Please, do yourself a favor and choose another option to code...yes they've had people who've been successful in getting jobs, but MOST people of every bootcamp will not! And that's the truth. I am calling the better business bureau today on their creditors and a lawyer. Worst decision of my adult life was attending this bootcamp.
