Having known Adam for as long as I have I can attest to his efforts to build a company that stands behind their brand promise - a promise I simply don't see very often. There is no shortage of work for businesses like Adam's in Calgary and it would be easy for him to be transactionally focused - do whatever it takes to get the business, at any cost, and move on to the next customer. However, that's not what Adam believes. In fact, I've seen him say no to business. "If can't do it right, then we won't do it at all." I think the part about Adam that really stands out is that he's a continuous learner about business and he cares deeply about the social and environmental impact of his company's actions. I've witnessed Adam in peer advisory groups, sharing knowledge and encouraging other business owners to stand for principals and values... profit takes care of itself. We had 4 bedroom windows and 1 patio door completed by Ecoline…read more We originally went with this company as they told us that there were no glass delays for them and that everything was made locally. This was in 2021 when this was an issue. This ended up being untrue and everything was delayed. Install was finally completed in Jan 2022. Our patio door was the first issue that I noticed. We could barely open it. It took me over a year and countless visits by their techs to finally say that the door was defective. I stayed home for dozens of these technician appointments, missing work and activities/family time, and no one would take notes or submit paper work and it was ALWAYS me following up with the company for anything to be done. Their trim work is also done so poorly, it splits within weeks to months after install. They told me if I wanted it done nicely that I would have to pay extra. They also use a copious amount of caulk to fill in any gaps on the exterior. There was also damage to our walls and new flooring during the install. We had other windows done by another company as we were fed up with Ecoline. We had zero issues with any of these new windows from the other company. I am now dealing with our replacement patio door. It is bowed and now leaking cold air into the house. I have reached out to them Jan 20th and Jan 24th both with no response. I know this of course is going to be a painful process to get anything rectified and know that they will try and do nothing. They offered me the first time only 5% off any new windows for the headache. My question is, why would I ever want another subpar window poorly installed by them again. Lastly, they demand payment upfront and before any work starts. They will just stand there until they are paid. The employees told us, this is because the company will make the workers pay the company if a client does not pay. Highly unethical. A client should be able to pay once the work is done and you are satisfied, not before. There is no hold back in case poor work is done. I have lost countless work days, time with my family and energy with this company for them to rectify their issues. They are unwilling to make anything right. Stay away from this company. There are so many other great companies out there that deserve your hard earned money. Ecoline is not one of them.

All we asked that they pay half and they have refused!! Our bay window was not measured properly and they FORCED it in making more damage!!! Finished (according to them) job was poorly done with sharp edges on the windows.
