It was a really nice background for a sports complex and the fields were clean and well kept. Lastly, there are also trails that go through the sports complex so a good place to park for a hike or a walk with a dog. Lastly, there is a mound that serves as a natural seating location for watching soccer or football games. Before the same fully comes out its quite nice to just sit there and maybe even have a picnic too.

It's also generally pretty organized, which goes a long way when you're dealing with multiple leagues and games going on at once. That said... they're making some seriously questionable decisions right now. They decided to install solar panels during one of the busiest times of the year, which has cut the parking lot in half. So now everyone's forced to park on nearby streets--which would be fine, except the signage is confusing at best and borderline impossible to interpret at worst. To make things worse, police have suddenly started patrolling the area constantly and handing out tickets like crazy. I've been coming here for years and never seen ticketing like this before--it honestly feels like shooting fish in a barrel. And yes, they'll even ticket you for not curbing your wheels. Between the reduced parking, unclear street rules, and aggressive enforcement, it really feels like a cash grab--and it's frustrating for people who are just trying to show up and play. All that said, I still appreciate having this complex. It's a great spot for both softball and soccer, and when things are running smoothly, it's a really enjoyable place to play. Bottom line: great facility, but right now the parking situation is a mess. Plan ahead... or risk leaving with more than just a loss on the field.

The employee started making comments about each team I was looking for saying "I was wasting my time and money trying to get those jerseys". Then he proceeded to laugh at my selection. When I told him he could potentially lose a sale with those comments his response was " don't worry, we're going to sell out anyway". As a customer who has bought plenty of jerseys from this store, it very much bothered me to receive this kind of service and have this kind of experience. I understand a store isn't responsible for its employees but it is responsible for who they do choose to represent the store.

I want to give Spartan five stars for so many reasons …read more. Let's start off by saying that we initially booked our camp for the summer of 2020, right before COVID hit. We had experienced issues with other camp who we ended up having to dispute with credit card company to get a refund, but NOT with Spartan. They issued refund when we requested it, problem solved. Comes 2021, we were ready to try again. Booked 2 weeks, then my son broke his arm on the first day of summer. Called the owner and explained what happened and she was ready to issue a full refund, but I asked for credit instead. Finally, this year! My son went for two weeks and loved it! We had signed him up for other camps, surfing camp, Steve & Kate, all were fun and good, but he said this was by far his favorite, and asked that we only send him to Spartan next year. I like how they rotate them through different sports/activities each day (I think 9 total), and he came home everyday dirty, sweaty, exhausted but HAPPY! He said he learned new sports, and made new friends. I also really appreciate that they have the store card option available each week you can purchase, so they have $20 they can spend at their little snack shop (without having to send them to camp with cash), and can be used towards Kona Ice on certain days. I think that is a great way for kids to learn to manage their budget and feel independent. Last but not least, at the end of the week, they send pictures and video (included it the registration) to all the campers so we get to see all the fun stuff they did that week! Overall, if you have a kid who loves to spend time outdoor, playing sports, staying busy, I would highly recommend Spartan. The drop off and pick up is super easy. Although sometimes the line might seem long, but it goes fairly quick and I've never waited more than 5-10 mins to drop off/pick up. Counselors were also very friendly and energetic!

Even though you pay fee for the full year, before the year ends, they ask for the full fee again. No one responds to you except when they need to collect your money. Very unprofessional very disorganized. Stay away from them. They don't teach anything to your child.
