Edit: My son is now almost graduated from the private kindergarten program at Baseline Learning Tree, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Ms. Samantha is truly wonderful. She's patient, attentive, and takes her time with each child to make sure they're really understanding and progressing. Thanks to her, my son has learned to read and is feeling confident heading into first grade. Christine and Stephanie, the director and co-director, continue to be incredible. They're so supportive, compassionate, and genuinely care about the families they serve. They always go above and beyond to make sure your child feels safe, loved, and well cared for--and that you feel supported as a parent. They're communicative, understanding, and truly lead with heart. I will honestly be so sad once my kids outgrow the need for daycare, because Baseline has been such a constant source of stability, comfort, and trust in our lives. Knowing my kids were safe, nurtured, and thriving there has meant the world to me, and I'll always be grateful for everything this amazing team has done for our family. The staff at Baseline Learning Tree really worked with us during the time our son attended. One year he had some medical needs that required accommodations. The staff including Christine, Stephanie and his classroom teachers listened to what our son needed. A plan was created with us so everyone knew what to do and they were flexible around working with our son and his medical needs. He started out being worried and scared during that time of going to school to eventually wanting to go and liking his class. He even made a best friend. Due to the staff being willing to teaming with us around his needs he ended up catching up and exceeding expectations. My family and I highly recommends this daycare. read more

Great school so far. We had a really bad experience at our son's previous school, Sunshine Montessori, so this place was a breath of fresh air. The management is very communicative. The teachers talk to us about our son daily. The best part is they have an app to track how your child is pottying, sleeping and eating throughout the day. If you're a parent of a toddler, you get how important this information is, and it was something we were not getting at our past school. Good choice for childcare! read more

We have absolutely loved baseline learning tree! At one point due to a job changes I tried an alternative daycare and we came back almost immediately. The kids have enriching activities, the day is well planned and structured. Both my kiddos ages 5 and 2 have thrived here. I would recommend to everyone. read more

My son attended Baseline Learning Tree until early this year. My son (who is now 3) had been attending since he was 4 1/2 months old. This is a great facility. However, If you have a special needs child- especially one with behavioral challenges- this facility may not be the right place for your child. My son has a severe speech delay, sensory sensitivity and other behaviors that are on the autism spectrum. I will be honest and disclose my son was kicked out after months of behavioral outbursts and acting out towards other students and staff that were outside the scope of what they allowed per their "guidelines". But bottom line the staff just could not handle him anymore. About 4 months before we left he started having outbursts that included biting, scratching & hitting other children and staff. While some instances were, as it turned, out related to his aforementioned challenges, his behaviors were exasperated by the fact that the young, inexperienced staff were attempting to fit a square peg into a round hole so to speak. For example, my son developed a severe aversion to hand washing because his sensory sensitivity went haywire in response to soap. Yet the staff persisted and forced him to wash his hands in line with the "routine". This resulted in loud, disruptive and sometimes very physical meltdowns. They did not attempt other options to clean his hands until our Early Intervention Specialist suggested such, but even then there was resistance by at least 1 "teacher" because "well the other kids do it just fine". Again, square peg versus round hole. We did everything we could to curb the behaviors but incident reports at pick-up started to become routine. His behavioral outburst (hitting, biting, scratching) eventually labeled him a problem child. They eventually started restricting his attendance, like not allowing us to drop him off until 8am when previously he had been there by 6:30am. This was because toddlers remain in the same room as infants (some as young as 6 weeks old) before they staff enough bodies to move the active toddlers out of a room with 6 week old infants. When we questioned why active toddlers were allowed to remain in a room with infants were never given a definitive answer. Leading up to his dismissal we constantly got the whole "you guys are a great family" and "we don't want to have to ask you to leave" while making minimal attempts to accommodate him. In the end it felt like management was more concerned about liability then helping a struggling child. If there really was an effort on their part I don't believe I would have felt as emotionally side-swiped as I was when he was kicked out. That's why I waited 4 months to write this, to allow myself time to heal and gain perspective. This isn't meant to be vengeful because moving to his new school was the best thing that could have happened to my son. My only reason for writing this is to share our experience, to hopefully prevent another family from going through what we went through. My son is now at a larger, nationally accredited facility with tenured staff and director. They are partnering with staff with Early Intervention and HECC (Hillsboro Early Childhood Center) on doing the best they can do for him. Despite some occasional setbacks overall my son is now thriving. This is because he is in a place that sees our son not as a problem and a liability but for who he is- a smart, bright, loving little boy who needs a little more help getting through each day then most other kids. read more

Excellent child care center !! All the teachers are so adorable, always carries smile in their face , treats all children equally, never showed distress. We've had our two kids in here from the day we moved to Oregon in 2013. Our daughter spent almost 3 years here, our son almost 4, and we've never had a thought of leaving this place. They keep long hours from 6am-6:15pm (those extra 15 minutes at the end make a difference sometimes). They serve lunch and snacks. They have happily made dietary accommodations when necessary. From the top down, they're super friendly, engaging, and receptive to concerns. Our daughter did kindergarten there and seemed well-prepared for 1st grade. There's a decent amount of staff turnover which isn't ideal, but there a number of stalwarts to keep the facility running smoothly. Our kids both loved BLT, their teachers, and their experiences. Lastly, they're reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone! read more

This is the best childcare place in aloha/beaverton. They are safe and clean and the staff is amazing with children infant to school age. They are dedicated to helping the children 1st. They even offer kindergarten so my son was able to be in real school even with the pandemic. The center has been open the entire time and follows all precautions of covid. My daughter now age two started off in the infant room and is almost 2 years of age and talks up a storm already. The children love there school/daycare center. Baseline learning tree has changed our family dynamic forever. Thank you so much baseline learning tree staff for all you have done to help mold my children into happy healthy fun loving and amazing smart children they are today. Our daughter loves going to baseline learning tree! Every night she comes home happy and we love reading about all the great things she did in her class. They always have lots of arts/crafts, songs, and sensory things for her to do every day. The staff is very friendly and willing to work with changing schedules. My child has attended Baseline Learning Tree since he was 4 months old. He thrived at daycare, and I had complete trust in all the caregivers at baseline. Now that he has grown into a toddler, he shows excitement every day I drop him off, wanting to give each teacher a hug. He also is never ready to come home at the end of day. Finding a daycare I trust and one that he loves is the most important thing to me, and I highly recommend this daycare. They provide meals/snacks, plenty of indoor/outdoor play, and lots of love.
