Basement waterproofing,with 2 sump pumps and battery back-up service. The team was super awesome if I may say. Personable,communicative, quick and it should be noted from the laughs that I heard coming from the basement, genuinely happy people. While at work, a rarity. The pricing was very,very competitive and fair. read more

Our home had a water problem after an extreme rain storm that flooded Ellicott City Md. We hired Floodbusters after talking to two different companies. Floodbusters explained in full detail what they were going to do. Showed examples of the products and how they worked. The company was on time and finished the job as promised. The job was completed Sept. 2016 The basement has remained dry. We are pleased with the job and would recommend that you talk to them when in need of a waterproofing company. My most prominent observation was the fact that the majority of the store (minus the furniture…read moresection) was impressively organized. The shoes are colour-grouped, which is surprisingly nice. The kitchenware and houseware section was a little lacking in stock, but there was plenty else to sift through. Tons of ladies skinny jeans, a lot of name brand shoes, a crapload of vinyl (I doubt anything super cool, but who knows), so on and so on. They have everything you would expect from a Goodwill. The one thing I'd change would be the prices. They're a little high for a second-hand shop if you ask me, and pricier than other Goodwills.

Maryland Food Bank thrives off of weekend volunteer hours for packers in their conveyor belt area to box canned goods and boxed foods as they'd otherwise have to bill these hours to payroll. I enjoyed myself and even got in a little cardio as the belt moved more and more foodstuffs through. I was in charge of canned veggies and boy were there lots of them. It was a good time and I can't wait to go back!

Some of the staff are rude, push by you before saying excuse me. Having conversations on the phone while on the floor. The main thing I noticed was around Christmas there was items coming out to be bought that was not on the floor but rather from the back. Back with the other owner I remember seeing employees hiding merchandise and getting them when they get off their shift, I thought with the new owners things would be different.

Background follows: I had some cherished family furniture that I needed to donate. After learning about Habitat for Humanity ReStore, I used their very efficient web site and scheduling system. It was easy to navigate, and it worked perfectly. I received follow-up emails and text messages for the pickup, where the donated furniture was going, and reassurance that the family furniture was going to the right place. Because the furniture was too big for me to move outside, and as Restore can't come into the house, Restore assigned the pick-up to Bulk Brothers. Bulk Brothers acknowledged the assignment, and began their own follow-up text messages, keeping me informed of the vehicle license plate that would do the pickup, driver, and time for pick up. This whole interaction, and follow-on actions by Restore and Bulk Brothers was easy and professional done!
