Our class wanted to organize a clothing/food drive, and Martha's Table seemed to have the most bang for your buck. You can always donate in liquid like every other organization, but not as feasible for someone on the student lifestyle. There's plenty of drop-off locations for clothing and baby items across the city. If you can give food items like canned and dried goods, you gotta go to their Maycroft location on Columbia Rd NW. Easy to just reserve a 15-minute appointment on their website and drop off our load. I see their trucks all around the city serving the community - here's to hoping everyone's littles go a long way.

I just went to Home Depot and got the same thing in pristine condition for $0.50 more per sheet. They are overpriced there and management is horrible so goto another location or the Loading Dock in Baltimore. I buy stuff there and management is helpful and not ignorant.... He should be fired and never work in customer service or management of any type.... I hope he reads this. I am sure all of the staff know who I am talking about and they share my comment. I was shocked at how huge the store was. Some of the items were pretty pricey, but most of what I saw was in great condition. Lots of light fixtures , couches , some refrigerators, and even a HUMONGOUS bed. I ended up leaving with a TV for $45. Can't beat that. Before checking out the volunteers plugged it in and made sure it worked before selling it to me. I definitely appreciated that. The volunteer even insisted she carry the TV out to the car for me. Very unexpected!
