It wasn't overly busy and we at a time emptied our water glasses and waited 20+ minutes for a refill... comon!! We didn't bother for dessert as service took too long. - I've had better cuts of meat elsewhere. If it wasn't for the tasty intense garlic, it would have been a miss for me. - For the price-tag, I don't think we got our value's worth. Cheese rolls and stuffed kibbeh , followed by a Meat Fatteh (typical lebanese dish. We had a complementary refill for the appetizers , the salad and the Fatteh . We took the kibbeh be laban (stuffed kibbeh in yogurt sauce served with rice on the side) as well as the Makloubeh (rice with aubergines, minced meat and special gravy ) so delicious, so well prepared and presented. The ambiance and music was to our taste. End up the meal with a homemade baklava and cardamom tea. The chef came to our table to inquire about the food (he was so proud of his Menu) . He says yea no problem...rice, potatoes, salad...does that work for you? Simple enough. Paid for my food. Sat down. From the first bite I knew I was in for a treat. Supremely flavorful, fresh. NOTHING on the plate did not taste wonderful. My favs... The chicken was tender, seasoned delightful and paired with the sauce awesome. The rice was not hard as you find some when they are buffet style. Fluffy and tasty. The potatoes and salad were quite good as well. Not sure why, but Atlanta is missing exactly this type of restaurant. Reasonably priced, delicious ethnic food (although we have some pretty good Thai and Mexican spots) without a ton of fake fanfare and praise. The meal cost me $13 CAD and they do take Visa/Mastercard. Would definitely be back if I were staying in the area.
