Dr. Basile is a great communicator and we trust him completely. My Wife and I met with him to go over the possibility of her getting a breast lift with potentially an implant exchange to go larger. He spent more time with us reviewing her current implants and were she was at today after 5 months from her initial breast augmentation from another surgeon, than that surgeon did during the initial consultation, preop-procedure and all post op follow up. He was extremely detailed and thorough with his examination and consultation and my Wife was thrilled with his professionalism. Although other surgeons said she could do a lift only 4-5 months after her original augmentation. Dr. Basile recommended waiting a full year before doing more surgery to let the body heal 100%. He already scheduled another follow up to check on her healing progress in July and if things go well we will schedule the surgery in November which will be one year from her initial augmentation. read more

Breast augmentation was something that I had been thinking about since my third daughter was born 19 years ago. But as a stay at home mom/wife, it just never seemed to be "the right time". I waited, patiently, until at last the timing was right! I did a lot of research and talked to many people. Dr. Basile was one of three Plastic Surgeons that I met with before making my final decision. From my initial consultation, I knew that I had found my plastic surgeon. Dr. Basile and his entire staff are nothing short of exceptional. First impressions are everything... when I arrived at the office, which by the way, was beautiful, clean and smelled AMAZING, I was greeted by Ashley, the patient care coordinator. She immediately made me feel comfortable with her welcoming smile. She put me in a consultation room where we talked for a bit and then she said Dr. Basile would be right in... and I don't think I even waited five minutes to see him. The time everyone took with me was amazing, I never once felt rushed. Dr. Basile is a highly skilled surgeon with a good eye. I had done my research and when I went to my appointment I knew EXACTLY what I wanted. He listened as I explained, in detail, what I hoped my end result would be, then he offered his suggestions on what he thought would give me the best results. At my pre-op appointment he thoroughly explained the procedure and technique. Went through all of the medications and recovery, discussed any questions I had, and again, went through all of my "wish photos" that I showed him. From the time I had my consultation until now I called (or emailed) several times, I had a gazillion questions and Ashley was always patient, kind, courteous and professional. She ALWAYS made me feel like there was no silly question and regardless of how busy she was, I felt as if she was my very own personal patient coordinator, like I was their only patient. Finally - SURGERY DAY! I arrived at the surgery center at 6:30am. Feeling nothing more than excited! Dr. Basile came in, drew on my chest with a marker, and asked me again if I had any questions. Enter Operating Room, (ok, NOW maybe I'm feeling nervous) sleepy time, Dr. Basile "working his magic", wake up, feel fine, go home. Took meds as prescribed. Saw Dr. Basile first thing the next morning. The meds made me sick, (which is typical for me) but as far as pain, I really didn't have any. I also didn't have ANY bruising, not at all. I followed Dr.'s orders exactly as they were given to me. I am now a little over 6 months post up, doing great and have very minimal scars already, and they will still continue to heal. Honestly, if it was possible for me to leave a zero star review I would, I recently have been thinking about getting work done, specifically my breasts, I know nothing about augmentations so I set up a consultation after talking to some friends who have gotten work done here before and had great reviews . I ended up speaking to a woman named Ashley who was condescending, extremely rude, and passive. I expressed to Ashley that I have never had work done and she treated me like I was stupid for asking the questions that I was asking which all in all ended up ruining the experience for me and I walked out before my consultation. As it turns out, a few other people have had the exact same experience with her. Faculty like that will really ruin a good experience at an establishment. read more

The 1 star rating was given for poor office management by staff. I went to see Dr Basile for a liposuction consultation. After meeting with him and having a physical exam it was determined that I would be a good candidate for this procedure. I found Dr. Basile to be genuinely interested in my health, and in making sure this was truly the right thing to do, versus me just needing to lose some weight. He spent time discussing all of this with me. Very professional, intelligent, compassionate man. I needed to get medical clearance and a few tests done prior to proceeding and after I'd completed those, I got back in touch with the office to find out what we had to do next to get the ball rolling towards my procedure. I found Ashley, my "patient care specialist" to be in person, very nice. On the occasions I'd called her, however, I could detect a small bit of attitude and a little bit of indifference. The medical clearance form was supposed to be sent over to my doctor's office, the doctors office denied getting it, I called Ashley again and she said I was given the form in my folder that I took home from the office... no, ma'am.. I'm looking at the folder, it's not here. It was supposed to be sent to the doctors office. Ok, we'll get it sent again... great. I asked her when we could begin to plan /schedule the procedure knowing it would still be 2 or 3 weeks out, she informed me she would call the surgery center and get back to me "either this afternoon, or tomorrow morning at the latest". Well folks, that was last Tuesday and it is now Monday. So, my review is negative because of Dr Basile's case manager. You would expect to be treated with more respect and to be followed up with, in a timely manner. Especially when paying a good amount of cash out of pocket ($8000) for a procedure NOT covered by medical insurance. read more

Back in Nov., 2014 I scheduled a breast reduction & lift for April, 2015 and paid a $500 deposit. I called 4 weeks before the procedure & postponed the procedure indefinitely. I was informed by Ashley that my $500 deposit would still apply WHENEVER I wanted to reschedule. I called this spring, and was told by whoever answers the phone that she spoke with Ashley who said my $500 deposit was no longer valid. I totally understand that I would have to meet with Dr. Basille again and the quoted amount would very likely increase, but to say the $500 no longer applies is totally unacceptable! As stated, I called well in advance to postpone and was told the $500 would still apply; a time limit was not placed on that deposit. Nowhere in the contract does it say you will lose your deposit if you postpone; just that if you cancel the surgery, the $500 is not refundable. I didn't want a refund, I wanted to apply it to the surgery I was now able to schedule. This is totally unprofessional and a total rip off, and Dr. Basille just lost over $10,000, as there is no way I would do business with such an unethical business! I'm having my surgery next week with someone else! read more
