This new Pizza restaurant in North London is a welcomed addition…read more Nothing beats an Italian run pizza joint. The food is perfect. My friend and I enjoy going to new restaurants and not knowing what to expect. The menu was enticing so we thought why not!! I ordered delicious musses for my starter and a huge spinach and ricotta pizza for my main. We were so impressed by the price - so reasonable! The staff were ever so friendly and helpful as we wanted to add few ingredients to our pizzas. Very Italian decor with the Mediterranean terracotta yellow beams and flax wood tables and chairs. Setting the scene! Great place for groups, families and friends. Atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the price points are fantastic considering the amazing quality and taste of the food... Check it out!

Nasty. Didn't…read moreexperience bad service like the last reviewer. In fact the initial service was great. Seated and immediately given olives. Attentive waiter, took order.... garlic bread pizza was great.... then the main courses came and it all went rapidly downhill. All the food tasted "past its shelflife". Clearly cooking from frozen or with ingredients that have been hanging around far too long. The lasagne, spaghetti bolognaise and pasta seafood all tasted old, a bit rancid and bland. The lasagne I ate, I was hungry but actually didn't want to eat too much for fear of getting food poisoning. The pasta was a bit gooey as it was old and already decomposing. This restaurant is terrible, I will never go back.

A nice touch was the two boys got given pitta bread and dippy before their food arrived so that kept them amused. The food came out relatively quickly and was as we ordered. My friend asked for a slight deviation of what what on the menu so that was good of them for a chain. The food itself was standard and a bit bland to be honest. But it wasn't bad. You get what you pay for. It is definitely chain food. The staff were pleasant enough. It's okay as a "Pop in for something quick" but I wouldn't go there if I wanted decent Italian.

I ordered the fettucine bolognese, my ultimate comfort food, and found myself feeling pretty comforted. Another time I tried the fettucine con verdure, which was decent and I appreciated the vegetables but I prefer a pasta with more sauce, so I didn't like it as much as the bolognese. My husband always has the pizza here, which from the slices I steal, I can tell you has a tasty crust and is good. He also likes the Sicilian lemonade here which I think is just okay. The calamari appetiser here was surprisingly great, all yummy breaded goodness with garlic mayo dipping sauce. I tried the prawn appetiser as well but didn't really like it. For dessert, I have had the tiramisu, which was a mediocre and mostly tasted of chocolate. It is not bad, but I think of it more as something to satisfy a chocolate craving rather than a proper tiramisu. The service is friendly and willing to let you linger over your meal, which is nice. ASK is a chain and as you would expect, it is decent, but not a really special place to go or a place you adore. Still, I appreciate a reasonable place to get my fix when I crave pasta, so ASK is a place I might need:)
