Greeted upon entry. Great selection of sporting goods which is really nice as an avid camper and fisher. Their prices aren't always the most competitive, but the kids always have a fun time. I use to drive all the way to grapevine for a bass pro shop but now that this location is finished I drive here all the time. This is the closest location and I come here to take my free pictures with santa. The employees I had interacted with before have been nice and professional. The store is clean and well organize. There is plenty of parking space and its easy to get in and out from the highway. I really enjoy coming here just to experience the store and see all the pretty fish they have in there. read more

The is a brand new Bass Pro shop. It has an extensive gun area and good selection of clothing. Not the largest Bass Pro shop I've been to but it's still big. The people working here were very friendly. I would definitely come shopping here again. read more

First thing I am not sure how people enjoy themselves shopping at this Location in 161 Grand Prairie,Texas Maybe is not Black People friendly. That customer service dept. need a true attitude adjustment. I think they might think we are still in 1926 not 2026. You all are so wrong on how you treat people when you make a mistake. The big Abercrombie size manager (white guy) I should have got your name..was just horrible. out of all the people around us I guess because we looked like our black axx was going to take something constantly asking do you need help but, never asked the white people close to us. I can't walk out with a boat in my pocket. yes they are rude.. send a black secret shopper in there and you will see. I wish places like this would just put WHITE ONLY on the doors and we can just keep it pushing. They don't care about who you are or if you are rich/poor they just still have that PREJUDICE SIDE LOCKED IN AND IT COMES OUT REAL FAST.But soon as we become voicestress your coward as is scared ready to call the police in which someone of them are just like you,, thats why its easy to make the call. Bass Pro is more of an attraction than a store anymore. The place to visit when you come form out of state for the ambience and stuffed scenery. This one is was smaller than the others, it's a Bass Pro Mini. It still has the fish tank, tho rather small, and a small water fall. Tho the store is mostly set up to sale the items in the setting of an old lodge. It's not the attraction that the other larger stores offer with streams and bridges and multi level shopping. They offer a lot of their own product, A LOT. Tho they do offer some other brands as well. It's still a fun visit. We went to look for Cotopaxi, which they don't carry, but we did buy shorts at discount with the Columbia brand on the label. Rearly good deal. Good times, come check it out. read more

Bass Pro greets you with about 6 people at the front door... can we sign you up for a credit card? You show up to use the archery range on a Sunday and you're told they're not open. Why not? Can a billion dollar company not hire somebody for that position? I notice they're not lacking for somebody to sell an $80k boat on a Sunday. Bass Pro is really the Home Depot of outdoor goods. They couldn't care less about the small things, push the credit cards, eager to sell the high dollar items. I am done with Bass Pro. read more

If their goal was to make me mad and show that customer service is no longer a goal of theirs. They aced it without a doubt. I used to be a long time customer of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's but those days are in the rear view mirror. After have a great experience at the Allen Location this location and Garland locations gave me nothing but grief and excuses why they didn't want to price match prices. By the way the prices was from a reputable competitor and a normal retail price. Their selection was not an issue. Their customer service was lacking and so was their competitive nature. It is ok they clearly don't want my business any longer. I will take my business to Amazon or Dick's sporting goods since they seem to want to match prices and meet customers needs. read more
