OMG!! I love these stores! We spent over an hour in there, and came out with clothing items for both of us. Easy; altogether too easy! But every BPS is like this - like being in a world of your own! Even though we are not hunters, or big on fishing. It's the displays - I sat for a few minutes in front of the fish tank, watching not only the fish, but the people! A few kids climbing the fake rocks that make up the display to get a closer look at things - their expressions were priceless! There's a little cave under the huge tank, where kids can crawl in and look up into a bubble, to see inside the tank from the bottom. Very entertaining! Meanwhile, the store sells more fishing rods than I've ever seen in one place, loads of fishing paraphernalia, and many fishing boats were also on display. There's a section for hunting rifles and ammunition. There's a shoe section, clothing for men, women and children. And near the cash, they offer sweets and treats. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I could imagine working here! I would love to go back to this shop. read more

Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is open in the former Crystal Palace builing in Dieppe. USA based Bass Pro Shops is a very popular place to shop for avid outdoors enthusiasts who enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, and boating. Bass Pro Shops is similar to Cabela's and Field & Stream which features a massive selection of merchandise for outdoor enthusiasts and game enthusiasts including outdoor gear, apparel, footwear, camping, fishing, hunting, guns, archery, marine, boating, home goods, toys, snacks (beef jerky!!), candy, spices, food, gifts, knick-knacks, and more. The store was nicely layed out in the former round indoor amusement park space with nicely decorated with painted murals of outdoor scenes, classic pictures of New Brunswick parks & lakes, plus plenty of game & birds on display high near the ceiling along round wall perimeter of the large store and a big fish tank in the back of the store. I stopped in here to check out the Dieppe Bass Pro Shops. The prices here seem higher than the USA Bass Pro Shops due to the differences in CAD and USD currencies. The catalogs in the store are stamped with Prices In US Dollars. Many of the products sold here including the food products and snacks are distributed from or made in the USA. I checked out the work boots here, but could find any steel toe on display. They had a great selection of men's long sleeve button down shirts, BPS logo shirts and hats at good prices and plenty of rain gear too. Overall, Bass Pro Shops is very nice store to check out for outdoor related merchandise and gear. read more
