DO. NOT. make this your doctor. Scripts are never, ever filled on time. When calling to fill a script you have to call their "refill" line multiple times, over and over, and practically beg for them to send it to your pharmacy. If your pharmacy has an issue or question for dr. bassig- good luck! You will be doing their job for them, for days, and become the middle man between the pharmacy and doctors office and have to make multiple phone calls repeatedly on their behalf, because they will refuse to call like they're supposed to for whatever reason.. His family runs the front office and it's very evident. It is unorganized and unprofessional. At one point they were unwilling to fill scripts (medication I'm required to take daily) due to a small balance, which is unethical and not allowed. My scripts were only filled at this point after threatening to report them for unethical practices. 0/10- would not recommend to absolutely anyone!! read more

I love Dr. Bassig. He is my PCP and I am so glad I found him. The office is in Lockport, and it's great to have a short commute. He is always up to date on anything new from my specialists. He is compassionate and thorough. The NP are good too. The wait is usually 15-20 minutes. read more

I have to agree, Dr. Bassig is wonderful, he stops by in your exam room to sit down and actually listen to your health issues! He asks you questions and actually examines your problem if it is physical in nature, like a rash or a injury. However like other have said about the staff, RUDE RUDE RUDE, oh and don't bother calling early in the day OR later on after 3:00pm they turn their phones off!!!!! They never seem to have the right paperwork, even after I copied and handed them the papers at a recent visit! My good wife has the same issues with insurance papers and perscriptions, they never seem to make ot right, even after 3 times of calling and confirming, and giving them the same insurance cards over and over again! Yes they are the current cards....duh...... BUT I do think that Dr. Bassig is one of the best clinically! read more

Stellar medical treatment. Office staff is friendly and appointments are quick. Never have to wait. Could be a little more organized about prescriptioins, but overall, still a 5 star rating. read more

Almost never have an issue at the office and Doctor Bassig is by far my favorite doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bassig for several years and I refuse to move from this area because I can't take him with me. He is a friendly, kind, patient, empathetic and a sympathetic knowledgeable doctor who knows how to ease the tensions when the anxiety of illness is really weighing on you. Dr. Bassig really hears what I am saying even when it's hard explaining what's wrong, he gets it. The permanent staff are really great however they do have a male nurse or aide there that is a little wierd and I just don't feel comfortable around and hate having him so I don't say much so he leaves the room quicker and just wait for the doctor and tell him anything that's on my mind. But it's worth it to see Dr. Bassig, after almost 50 years of seeing doctors, I'd say I'm a pretty good judge at what makes a good doctor and Dr. Bassig is a great doctor. Love him.....wouldn't see anyone else. read more

This is the worst office in my experience with Dr.s offices. The Staff is Rude, incompetent, and did I mention rude! The only good thing about this office is Dr Bassig himself. The billing department can't even get their bills straight. The office continueously loses paperwork, and when you call about it they are anything but nice.
