If you're already familiar with the Batch Coffee in Chenango, this place is essentially the same, just with a smaller menu. Most of the drink options are the same (with the addition of smoothies and energy drinks) and the food is limited to things like pastries and bagels. All in all, pretty appropriate for grab-and-go. However, I will note that I walk by this place every day when I go to the Lourdes gym, so I've noticed some things. While I appreciate that their smoothies have the option for added protein for the end of my gym sesh, their hours end at 4pm each weekday, which is when most people start filing into the gym after work. I suppose that's great for my own wallet, but that means I only have the opportunity to get a post-workout smoothie on a weekend afternoon because they're already closed by the time I can make it there most days. The smoothies themselves taste pretty good, but there's been numerous times when I had to wait like 10 minutes for it because they started making other peoples' coffee orders even though I was first in line (and no, it's not like they're multitasking; they genuinely just skip my order until they're done with the coffees). Plus, most of the time, there are lumps of peanut butter or banana that weren't properly blended, either. Of course I'll be back again and again, but not as often as I'd genuinely want to be because of the hours.

Coffee and Matcha drinks were very good bagels and cream cheese. Excellent but they need to get a cinnamon and raisin bagel on the menu

So we had to choose a new breakfast place as our usual stop is closed on Monday. This choice was…read morebasically accomplished by using Google and seeing the massive list of places in the area and choosing one we haven't been to yet. Oh my gosh I'm glad we did this one.. Isn't much to look at when you walk in but it's basically a diner so what do you really expect? . Menu isn't huge but what they do they do very well. First thing I noticed when the breakfast came to the table was that the potatoes were fried in butter. A lot of places we have gone to use a little oil on the flat top, nope this place uses butter. And not that cheap imitation butter either they use some real butter. Those potatoes were incredible. We both had the steak and eggs, we both ordered the steak or air which for a breakfast steak is about a 25 second window before it's overcooked, and these guys nailed it. Everything else we had was really good including the French toast. A lot of places have it rather soggy, this wasn't crispy but it was well, let's just say less soggy. We asked him about other things we like for example the sausage biscuits and gravy which they only do on Saturday so we have to go back now. I also want to try their breakfast sandwiches because I was talking to them about these, and for those that are in this area that remember a place on I think Broad Avenue called Pasquale's.. well Pasquale's used to have the best breakfast sandwiches, and the Clinton diner here is telling me that they make theirs a little bit bigger. Definitely has my interest peaked. So anyway yes, I definitely recommend this place. The prices were not too bad really, all of the food we have here I think was about $30. For two steaks, and basically a third order of French toast, I'd say not too bad.

I have been having breakfast here almost every week for around 19 years. The food is great, the…read moreservice is good and the prices are very reasonable.

This past weekend I was finally able to locate a juice bar, the one and only (to my knowledge)…read morejuice bar in the Binghamton area and it was alright but definitely could be so much more. The spot is in the same location as a yoga studio. I've been seeing this a lot with yoga studios, the place will have a juice and/or smoothie bar for people to grab something healthy after their workout. This juice longue had smoothies, smoothie bowls and protein/super food add ins for their smoothies. They also had juices but they were pre-made. I'm not favorable of places that sell pre-made juices, they are not customizable that way and I just don't like the idea of them sitting on the shelf until they are sold or tossed. The place did not seem like it did a high volume, which may be unfair to say, I've only been there once, but I would much rather spend my money on a freshly made juice. The juices sounded tasty, ingredients like kale, beets, carrots, apple, ginger, pear, pineapple and more. Their super food add ins were maca, cacao, flax, turmeric, cayenne pepper, ginger, spirulina and others. You could order a wheat grass shot or hot shot too. I came in strictly for a green juice but they didn't have any available. That's what I mean, they only had two out of their three juices at the time because there weren't any others made. I was also interested in getting a ginger shot but the woman behind the counter said they just had a pre-made hot shot which was ginger, lemon and turmeric. Again, the pre-made shot wasn't idea but I was desperate for some ginger so I grabbed one. They were in a fridge nearby and they were tiny. I paid $4 for the shot and it was definitely one of the smallest ginger shots I've had. My go to place on Long Island sells their ginger shots for $1.25. They are made right in front of you, fresh and customizable and they're triple the size. Because of the cost, quality and quantity I would likely not come back here for a shot. You can buy the same thing at Wegmans for the same cost and it's double the size. When I walked into the juice shop I stood at the counter for a good two minutes while the woman working was blending up a smoothie. She didn't turn and say hi, didn't say she'd be right with me, nothing. It was awkward and I almost left. Eventually she finished what she was doing and helped me but the place definitely left something to be desired. The smoothie bowl she was making looked absolutely delicious though. Like I said, this place could be so much more. I'd come here every single day if they had customized freshly made juices available and better options for power shots.
