The smell of soaps and lotions greeted us as we entered. They had a wide range of gift items. We were greeted by the friendly employees as soon as we stepped foot inside the store. The decor of the store is cool. They have items of all different price ranges. They have a large collection of kitchen towels with catchy sayings. They had a large selection of jigsaw puzzles. This was one of the neatest shops we stopped in during our visit.

We worked with Sacha who was very honest about our blends, gave good feedback, and was a good source of encouragement. You have the ability to create 3 different versions of your scent and choose what most feels like you. You can also save your scent for future use. I liked that added benefit. I am always curious as to how brands like these manage to keep their momentum as it sometimes feels like something you do once but I would definitely come again to create other products. They offer candles too as well as you can purchase premade scents. I feel like the price was very reasonable compared to other similar experiences. Bright black offers the perfume Workshop every Saturday from 11-5 - walk in only. We got there a little before noon, and we were able to get seated right away. The staff was super friendly and explained each part of the process. There were tons of scents to choose from to create your own perfume oil. It was $35 per person which I didn't think was bad at all! They also sell car air fresheners, lotions, and candles. Most of the fragrances of the candles have a story or meaning behind them which I thought was pretty neat! Apparently next month, they will be offering larger, alcohol based perfume workshop options. When you're done, you have the option to log your scent so that you can have it made again or even have it made into candles which is cool! I really enjoyed my visit to Bright Black and would definitely recommend visiting if in the Raleigh/Durham areas

We signed up for a reading with The Hawkeye and he was wonderful. He uses his intuition and the cards to send beautiful much needed information. It resonated with me and he has a unique and honest way of delivering such messages. The ladies at the front are friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. We shopped for two hours and left with beautiful finds. My daughter bought a beautiful aqua phase ring. Thank you ladies and Ricardo for such a wonderful experience. We will be back again.
