This was the first time we have been into this Lush! I do like Lush products so I was super excited to see this one in such a big location. When we walked in an employee greeted us offered for my kids to make bath bombs for bath bomb day freeing me up to look at products. Everyone was so helpful they showed me products that would work best for me, I am sensitive to products so they allowed me to test everything I was interested in. They informed me about their rewards program and how to sign up along with bringing back the empty containers. They also gave me some samples which is also so awesome! read more

I haven't visited lush since I was a teenager. I knew very little about their products with the exception of the high quality and price. Today the aroma mesmerized me and sent my feet walking in. My date loves their soaps so we decided to take a walk around. Lush has really stepped their game up with their hair products and now fresh face masks with fresh vegetables infused into them ? Seriously. Some of the face masks were on ice to preserve them. Amazing. I sampled the deodorant French powder and learned about their deodorant bars. I ultimately decided on the naked moisturizing Scrubee butter to use while bathing. It has ground almonds and coconut shell with softening honey, cocoa and shea butter in alternating exfoliating and moisturizing stripes for the smoothest skin. It smelled so delicious I couldn't leave it in the store. It's the perfect product to get my skin ready to premiere this summer ! Customer service was awesome here. Loved everything about to shopping experience. Can't wait to return for more products to add to my collection. read more

The saying you get what you pay definitely applies here. The soaps, massage bars, and deodorant were all top notch. I was skeptical at first that the natural deodorant would work but glad I gave it a try. After a night of exploring and rigorous physical activity I can safely say I didn't once smell like an onion. Quite the opposite. Smelled like a fresh lemon. Went back the next day and got another one. The cocoa and chocolate massage bar not only smells great but keeps me moist. Glad to have found natural replacements for my hygiene and skincare. read more

I really want to like LUSH - I love what they stand for as a company and the ethics as well (no animal testing, etc) but the aggressiveness of the floor staff at this particular location is off-putting. My daughter and I were looking around, talking and the sales woman interrupted us and went into her spiel about new products and it was honestly rather rude. We thanked her and kept looking and sure enough, she came over to bother us again. We just wanted to browse and not be bothered. Anyway, between the sales person and the really high prices, we just left. As we walked out, we passed a group of women and one said, "I wish LUSH wasn't so expensive", I agree. Not worth the trip - we just stopped in after lunch. read more

My daughter is a big fan of Lush and lately my wife has been getting shampoo bars there as well (cuts down on packaging and she likes the shampoo). They offer natural bath and beauty projects and promote social causes. Some other reviewers referenced aggressive staff but we've never experienced that. Now my nieces are into Lush as well so we got them gift cards. read more

While I hate being chased around by the Lush staff, I love their products. And being chased around by them is a consistent feature across all stores. They are SUPER attentive and honestly want you to care about their products and pretty much leave you alone to get your eyes bonged out by all of the jazzy colors reflected in their hair products, bath bombs and bathtub popsicles. That's right. Bathtub popsicles. Now I just want to be clear. I love the fact that they are attentive and greet you and love you up and down with samples if you ask them. I wish a certain computer/phone/watch store that begins with the letter A, would emulate their style. What I do wish, however, is tht some of the employees honor the fact that on the day that I come in, I might be in a rush, and don't want to be rude, but just want to get the blue swirly bath bubble thing and get the heck home. Ok? Not every day is a leisure day. p.s. with the exception of the bath bombs, maybe... you can break the big bubble bars and crumble with your fingers. I went in today for sensitive itchy skin and very oily scalp and i left very satisfied!! The sales rep ALEX was very helpful and really listened to what i wanted. She offered a demo of a product unfortunately i didnt like the smell but she quickly offered a second option. She knew what her products were for and if they would or wouldnt work for me. I purchased honey i washed the kids and Sultana which she recommended for my skin. For my hair i got soak and float and she recommended i get a sample of superbalm hair treatment. I love lush but the staff there was overbearing, rude, and just plain mean. Would recommend a different lush w/o the horrible people. I was looking at some lipstick I was intending to buy when an employee came up and said "what are you girls planning on buying?" in a very aggressive manner then grabbed the bottle I was holding and said "you opened this? now we can't sell it." even though i didn't open it--I was just looking. I will never patronize this location again. The majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, my daughter and I had our very first experience with a rude and condescending employee. This woman spoke to my 22 year old married and pregnant daughter as if she were sewage from a septic tank. My daughter opened up a container to smell a product, as she was unaware of the current COVID procedures for this location. She was told by this employee not to open the product. My daughter responded in a friendly and apologetic manner; however, the employee proceeded to dress her down. We were about to purchase several products but instead, we left in disgust. It wasn't bad enough that we were profiled and followed around, but to be publicly humiliated was the final straw. I did speak to the manager at this location, though i feel it was for naught. Great products, but the hounding is worse than a car dealership. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by several employees and are approached literally every time you look at something. After the fifth time we explained that we were just browsing, one employee asked us to let her know if she was making us uncomfortable. Well, if you have to ask, you probably already know! Yikes. After a few minutes of sweet, precious freedom and solitude, a calm employee causally mentioned a product she enjoyed. We ended up buying it along with several other products. See? The calm employee didn't force us to huddle together passively in a corner due to social exhaustion. And the store made more money by not stealing our breath. It's ok to relax........ read more

So happy to have a Lush nearby! I finally gave in and went into the store this week (my prior avoidance stemming from the knowledge that I can easily spend way too much money on their wonderful products). the TL;DR: loved it, and loved the employees. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, quick to offer help, a fun fact, or a recommendation without being pushy or overbearing. If you've never worked in customer service, let me tell you that it's a fine line, and I believe they walk it well. Extra shout out to the woman from Seattle (sorry, terrible with names), and everyone who was working on Tuesday evening. I was very impressed with the service here! I asked an employee "Greyson" about my eczema and he gave me a couple samples of dream cream so I can try it out. I've gone here almost 10+ times and had good experiences. The reason I'm not giving this store 5 stars, though, is because the store feels like a money-hungry business. You can't take three steps inside without someone coming up to you, persuading you to purchase more or upselling... I live 45 minutes away now, and even after moving, I frequent this location due to the proximity of other familiar stores and yesterday, I went in to purchase my same shampoo bar but was basically cornered by one of their sales people. She was kind though and recommended I try another shampoo, a liquid, and I gave in. I got home, tried it, and it made my hair even greasier than I've ever seen before. That caused another 45 minute drive to the store, and another 45 minutes back to return it. The manager, or whoever was in charge to do the refund, was not kind whatsoever. Like she had a chip on her shoulder and was faking her smiles. I get it.. refunds are a pain... but your sales people should know what products work for a customer. I specifically told the lady my hair gets greasy so nothing with heavy oils, and she told me to use a shampoo with 3-4 oils inside. This store just lacks their information and knowing what's best for the customer. It seems like the girls inside are there to make a quick sale and don't care about your needs. Customer service done right! I was in town for an exam and decided to stop by Lush. I was greeted promptly when I came in by a very nice associate who inquired if I was seeking anything in particular; I told her I thought I'd just browse a bit and she was lovely and not pushy at all. Another associate later showed me a new item and we discussed our mutual love of shower jellies :) She was also super nice and not at all pushy. Later on I had a question and another associate responded right away. She read my face perfectly and helped me find a fresh face mask I was considering. Every associate in the store was attentive and friendly. Lots of customers were being helped and no associates were just standing around. There was a great energy in this store. My checkout was equally pleasant; I got a nice sample of Helping Hand cream and I think I'll buy the full size next time! The associates really seem to know their products and that is awesome. I will definitely be returning to this Lush location, even if I have to make the 2-hour drive to do it. Worth it! read more

Now when I go in I do not receive any help with new products and I literally have to demo products on myself (hmmm maybe I could be of service with that? ;)) but they at least make eye contact and say hello to me, even if the staff doesn't think I notice them blatantly going into the back office and avoiding me when I come in (talking to you Cody) and then laughing about me having the nerve to come in. Once when I was in there the power went out and they awkwardly asked us to leave by saying it wouldn't be on for a few hours and held the door open while other customers still shopped around. The next time I went in they were out of every single fresh face mask (it was a Tuesday, I know their shipment is Thursday but they didn't sell out that morning obviously). Way too much money for what little products you get, I would recommend buying online from the U.K., the conversion rates after the 6$ shipping are much cheaper and lush U.K. Seems to have better values than their NA sister. I love lush but this store continues to disappoint me no matter how many times I come in. Even when I went to their stores birthday party and went in with a friend, they helped my friend a bit but weren't too knowledgeable about the products (recommended us some solid shampoos and the sls strips the hair of unnatural color put in it) and after they dropped us and knew we were going to buy something they didn't really try to take it farther than that. I had to ask for one of the complimentary marigold pots, and they said they were going to raffle off 2 karma perfumes but later deleted the post. All in all, work on your social media marketing and just being more welcoming and knowledgeable about the products in your store! read more
